How to play Fortnite Community Battles & win free V-Bucks

Exciting rewards are up for grabs at the Fortnite Community Battles Bootcamp, but you’ll need to act fast.

There’s a new way to put your Fortnite skills to the test and earn prizes, even if you’re not a fan of playing in Arena and tournaments. At the Fortnite Community Battle Bootcamp, it’s all about having fun and completing challenges.

How does it work?

The contest is only open from 10:00 August 19 to 20:00 August 23 (CEST) so get in there quickly.

Firstly, you’ll need to head to the Community Battles website and click join. From here you will be able to link your Epic Games account so that they can track your progress.

Once you’re signed in, you will be given your first set of daily challenges. These are normally quite easy to complete, like “Play 60 minutes in any mode”.

New challenges will become available each day, and you will need to complete them all in order to unlock the Final Challenge.

All players who make it to the Final Challenge will receive the Kab-llama spray in-game. They will also be ranked on the tournament leaderboard, with the top 20,000 participants winning V-Bucks.

1st Place: 2500 V-Bucks

2nd Place: 2250 V-Bucks

3rd Place: 2000 V-Bucks

4th Place: 1750 V-Bucks

5th Place: 1500 V-Bucks

6th Place: 1250 V-Bucks

7th Place to 25th Place: 1000 V-Bucks

26th Place to 100th Place: 800 V-Bucks

101st Place to 500th Place: 500 V-Bucks

501st Place to 5,000th Place: 300 V-Bucks

5,001st Place to 10,000th Place: 250 V-Bucks

10,001st Place to 20,000th Place: 200 V-Bucks
