I don't know why you keep squeezing the art when it looks terrible and others also tell you it doesn't look good. Making a cover isn't just squeezing a photo to fit a space and making everyone look oddly stretched and fat. Composition matters too. Both of these need a lot of work.

Default This cover art is real genius!

Worked up some cover art for Real Genius prior it being released on Blu-ray. Used the DVD cover art as a starting point replacing all elements with the exception of the movie description and large image area on the back portion. Have since updated the back portion to more closely match the retail Blu-ray release. Still a few improvements I'd like to make. Works for now though. Full size image available for download for those so inclined. Just click on the preview image below. Enjoy!

Since I don't have the time to answer a ton of PM's here is the link to the Marvel covers, all I ask is please do NOT upload these to any other sites. If I hear of or see these on another site I will have to delete them.

I'm not, but thanks

I just tried to make some replacements for covers I wasn't happy with, and I'm not good at this but decided to post anyway. I know they suck...are you happy?

Look, you received courteous, constructive criticism on your first attempts, and then proceeded to ignore that advice and even do the exact opposite on your "revision". Bates_Motel voiced genuine puzzlement about this, and I'd rather you explained your choice than act all offended and hurt. We all started somewhere but one of the basics is you do not squash images. Tons of good feedback is here for the taking if you really want to improve. Show us you can do better.

So, I posted this over on EFX too; they look great but how come you never finished them? The versions that are posted say "TBD" for the special features.

I definitely appreciate the comments as well as everyone else's suggestions a couple pages back. I think the "I think he's making a joke" comment was a little bit unnecessary, but whatever. Again, I'm not very good at this. I'll be the first one to admit. I did go back and rescale the image on the Groundhog Day cover to be a bit more proportionate with the 4K banners, as I preferred to keep those to match the other Mastered in 4K cover arts. The cover as a whole doesn't too good when I resized it to post on here, but honestly..looking back, when viewed in full size resolution it's not horrible

Because it's a cover I made for the cancelled TV series. Only the Pilot is available (in HD) and I burned it on a BD-R.

Some information on the TV Series:
You can also watch the trailer on YouTube!

I wasn't trying to be rude.
Some sites like customaniacs have high-resolution images of movie posters; sometimes with more information on the sides, that way the image wouldn't have to be squeezed as much. Just a suggestion.
Also, don't give up making your own covers just because some of us are being a little critical. You only get better by practicing.

Default Hell Night

Well, I was feeling a little nostalgic and I haven't done any VHS re-creates in a long while so I thought I would do up one for Hell Night (since we all know it's coming soon, lol).

Anyways, as with all VHS recreates (some other members will agree) VHS dimensions vs Bluray dimensions are sometimes a nightmare. I lucked out with this one and I have only made a few slight modifications but I think it turned out well all things considered. The only thing I am not happy with is the stills on the back are not the greatest, but I can only work with what I can find.

Thoughts, criticism, etc are always welcome.

Original VHS that I based the cover off: (Minus the Movie America sticker, lol.)
