I was just waiting for the thread to correct itself since it wasn't breeching the red line yet.

The TVA (Thread Variant Authority) may have stepped in to correct it without us even knowing as it seems we are back on track! hehe

Marvel first stole the concept of a time travel agency from the 1983 novel "Millennium" by John Varley
You kids should read John Varley's "Titan" trilogy.....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_(novel)

This happens though....Lucas stole the Lightsabers in Star Wars from Larry Niven's "Ringworld" and so on...

It's not just the aging is my point.

Imagine if it was Chadwick who signed a 20 year deal that allowed his digital likeness to be used. The optics would be pretty poor.

Here's a thought: Pablo Picasso, is often quoted as having said: "Good artists copy. Great artists steal."

It matters what happens on all these screens....marvel should know better than to blunder like this.
Loki might turn out to be quite good, but....WandaVisions "solution" was lazy, trash writing akin to "the dog ate my homework"
The sky falling for Marvel has been predicted at every turn.

Simply throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks as bait in the thread.

Lazy troll.
It's the Marvel cycle. Second guessing and predictions of doom and gloom while pointing out everything wrong. Then when it receives praise from critics and audiences, they say is was a formula and they knew it would succeed all along. Then they complain and say they want them to do something different.

Meanwhile, I'm having a blast. Already planning on making some TVA shirts.

Considering that we have a Multiverse Dr Strange movie iminent, as well the next Spider-Man film supposedly being a SpiderVerse movie in it's own right, i'm not sure what Loki is trying to do regarding it's stance on alternate realities. I'm beginning to wonder if this show is going to perhaps be used in a Crisis on Infinite Earths type of way to try and tie up some inconsistencies and establish new rules along the way.
But overall I'm not keen on the overall direction in place.
What continuity have they messed with?

Watch out....the kids on this board seem to get really upset if you point out that Marvel may not know or care what its doing as much as it used to with these new series...I totally agree with you. Multiverse story telling is just damn boring...how may Flash's are there on CW now ? 32 ?

Marvel of course is going to make tons of money and most will love what they do no matter how off the rails they go..Disney will see to that.

[Show spoiler]So this episode of Loki was really the season finale. This Loki is future Loki and Murderer Loki is Past Loki. These users are super smart and have already seen the whole series and timeline, so they already know what was or wasn't supposed to happen.

I’m a big MCU fan but I cannot bring myself to watch one more of these streaming series. I thought the last two were gratuitous filler and as much as I love Loki (the character), this one looks no different.

Plus, as a hardcore physical media guy it really pains me to ever support streaming services.

Amen, brother....streaming is the downfall of human civilization as far as I'm concerned. Not the content, but the delivery....why buy a tv set with a perfect picture just to run low bitrate material on it....makes no sense.
And most of the content is utter crap too....not all, there are some real gems.
Like Umbrella Academy..

This is exactly what I was talking about in the other thread. There has been an influx of this sort of stuff over the past two years. I suggest we cut this one off now, before it turns south.

As stated before it is the wash, rinse, and repeat. I know what is going to happen on this show. "A swerve happens" Why did they do that this show is stupid.

Or I am not watching this show it is pointless.

Do people normally walk into a room to remind people of what they are not going to watch?
