17 inch Methods on my rigSo I'm finally looking at moving to Method Wheels and I'm trying to stay with 17s and no spacers. From what I tell Method doesn't make a 17 if I want the correct back spacing I need to go with the 18s. Can anyone confirm?
Mate! This is one of the nicest setups I've ever seen on a Hundy. I just picked up a 1998 and am looking to swap the stock wheels and tires. Wandered here looking for pics of a method setup and voila. Please share some details about your suspension/tire setup along with the details on those wheels. Cheers!

WOW thanks for the compliments on the rig, it is turning out just how we wanted but still have a ways to go! Our setup is stock AHC for suspension for now(will be replaced this year with Kings or Icon), front and rear ARB air lockers, full SleeOffroad skids, Wheels are 17 inch Methods with zero offset wrapped in 35 inch Treps! thanks again for the props!Mate! The 17” methods are 0 offset@kreiten Are yours the standard inset/offset? Don't know if it is an optical illusion because of the color or what but it seems like yours don't have as an extreme positive offset like most run (+50mm I think is standard). I would love these if they were less of an offset.. .like +30mm
Really? I thought they were like stock LC/LX wheels with the +50mm or more offset? The 17” methods are 0 offset
Stock I think is 60mm offset, my Methods are 17x8.5 with zero offset like @DirtDawg said@kreiten Are yours the standard inset/offset? Of course, amazing setup. So with the 0 offset and 35's do these rub/hit side fender walls upon flexing. I am new to the 100 world after owning 2 Jeep TJ's and a GX 470 and never have I seen such limited wheel choices for a vehicle as on a Hundy. From what I have read so far, wheels sitting further out than stock have the potential do destroy your outer fenders and the inner liners upon flexing but the pic where your's is flexing at the rear seems to show a perfect tuck even with the 35s (I plan on running 33's)?WOW thanks for the compliments on the rig, it is turning out just how we wanted but still have a ways to go! im on 34s with 295/70r18s, planning on copying @kreiten with bumpstop mods.
modding the bumpstops to stop the 35s (even my 34s with 295 width) from scraping the wheel well by preventing the arm to fully articulate upwards.
Aha, that's what I was thinking would be the way to go. Thanks bud! I really want to swap out the oem wheels plus get onto a 17 inch wheel. She sits pretty stock with almost bald tires so can't wait to get a new set.im on 34s with 295/70r18s, planning on copying @kreiten with bumpstop mods.

for the front I just removed the bumpstops, 2 on each side, they just unscrew. Then I added 2 fender washers I bought at the local hardwear store and boom, about 10mm of bumpstop added. For the rear I just got some steel(1.5 inch), drilled out holes, also put in metal inserts around the screws for added strength and put the bumpstop back together with longer screws. you can also order new bumpstops, I was in a pinch as I was leaving for Rubicon in a couple days so just made my own. Hope that helps.is there a link to the bump stop mod I could use that.

thanks! I smashed the front pinch weld really good, no longer an issue there at all. The front inner fender liner is removed, the tires do barley kiss the windshield washer reservoir, not something I had time to deal with before running the Rubicon and was not an issue(but yes I am going to relocate it now that I'm home). Running the Rubicon trail requires sliders and in my opinion some wheels/tires with some offset to help avoid body damage. I agree with you a wheel with say 35mm offset would have large advantages for being able to "tuck" a bit more and may require less of a bumpstop. The rig performed absolutely brilliant in my opinion on the Rubicon requiring no tugs or winching, just drove right through, pretty happy with the setup so far.Your rig does look great. I assume you hammered back the pinch weld in the rear of the front wheel and moved the reservoir (and its liner if it has one) in front of the front wheel?
I love your look, but I was under the impression that was a troublesome fitment when it came to wheeling and that something tucked a little more would be much more friendly with big tires. I'm intrigued to learn more!

It seems that NOBODY makes a 40-35 offset 17" wheel for the 100
