btop - resource monitor that shows usage and stats for processor, memory, disks, network and processes.
C++ version and continuation of bashtop and bpytop.
Program is rewrited again. (from Bash to Python and now to C++)
Available from Mabox repository.
yay -S btop
Apparently the program will be rewritten again in assembly language as asstop

I have been testing btop for 10 days and it works very well and uses less CPU and RAM than bpytop.
In future Mabox releases, btop will replace bpytop.
If you want to make this change now:
Remove bpytop:
yay -Rc bpytop
Install btop:
yay -S btop
Replace it in Openbox rc.xml - so you can still use super + h to run it.
sd -s bpytop btop ~/.config/openbox/rc.xml
Replace it in left sidepanel:
sd -s bpytop btop ~/.config/mabox/places-append.csv
what is sd command?
sd is search and replace cli tool installed by default in Mabox.

Yes, there are a lot of them
You forgot about: lxtask (GUI) and this thing in systemtray (phwmon.py)
There is also standard top (cli).
By default on fresh install there are two visible: Conky and systray monitor. Easy to disable if you don’t like them. I’m not a big fan of Conky toy
Only btop and htop belongs to exactly same category: cli tools. Htop will be removed from ISO profile.
