Be warned about climbing the towers and kissing the Blarney Stone if you're scared of heights. Beautiful grounds, fun castle to explore, amazing views. Muddy when raining, so wear the right shoes.

Pretty cool - I figured I definitely had to do it while in Ireland. Get there early because it gets packed. Also stairs are very narrow! Pretty crazy if you're claustrophobic. Good experience though

Be careful of the steep narrow spiral steps when climbing up the castle especially during winter bc it's slippery. Tip: get a friend to take a photo of u kissing the rock if u can't afford the print.

The grounds are beautiful, poison garden is a must. The stairs are very tight and steep to get to the top but there's several places to move to side rooms and get your bearings. View from top is great

Castle grounds are vast - can spend a whole day hiking around here! Was nice climbing around the various parts of the ruins to see how life was like in the old days.

Beautiful part of the country- love the poison gardens and the Stone. The walk around is amazing- wishing steps, and see fabulous flora and fauna etc. But do not leave without kissing the stone!!

GET HERE EARLY. No, I'm not joking and yes, that is all caps. We were walking to the castle @ 9:04am and it still took us about 20 minutes to get to the stone. Plan ahead and GET THERE EARLY!!!

The line gets longer as the day goes on, but overall worth the wait! Have someone take your picture instead of paying for the one they take.

Great historical site, and an absolutely fantastic garden and park. The house in the gardens behind the castle is quite worth seeing as well

Lots to see after you visit the castle. Visit the Poison Garden. Look for the witches stone, wishing steps and the giant giant table :)

really nice place, especially the Rock Close with the Domen, the Steps of Wish, very old trees and a mystic feeling - visiting Cork is not complete without Blarney Castle and its park

Dramatic ruins of the castle with the shell of the keep still standing proud. Kissing the Blarney stone is a must.

Buss to city center is right out of the castle. You can stop at Blackpool mall and have something to eat a lot cheaper after visiting the Castle.
