Can you specific more about the details? For better understanding 😅. Like which OS, browser and in which section that error you are seen and how many ways you already try to solve this error. How to reproduce this error.

For me, "Unable to render code block", it typically means that the file you are trying to view contains a code block, but GitHub's code rendering engine is unable to properly display it. I don't know exact reason, but there could be Unsupported Language, File Size Limit, Temporary GitHub Issue and some time If the code block is not properly formatted, GitHub may not be able to display it correctly.

Me too. I am wondering if it is because I have a really really really long output screen in my ipynb.

I am able to download the file and it looks fine, Just cannot be rendered by GitHub for whatever reason.

I did solve it. Well it was never broken, it most likely was my enormously long output screen. It did eventually render for me after I walked away for a good while and then came back.

I have split up the output now (as I think some one else here mentioned github may have a string limit) and I have made other edits (so I am not 100% positive if that was really my issue or not) but yes it is rendering fine for me now.

Thank you G04TF4c3-CKM!! My problem was also long output, so I copied and pasted the code that produced long output to a new cell without executing the cell again, deleted the old cell the commit, not it works like a charm!

In my case, disabling the Chrome extension called Awesomescreenshot solved both PDF and ipydb.
I haven't debugged it in detail, but the old jquery (v3.4.0) was throwing an exception, so that may have affected it.
I have contacted Awesomescreenshot.

I resolved this by disabling the chrome extension ModHeader - Modify HTTP headers

Try disabling all Safari Extensions, reload a notebook on github, and see if it is working. If it is working, enable your extensions to figure out which one interferes with notebook rendering. For me it was Tampermonkey.

Just fixed the issue. It was Dark mode for your browser on my end.

Turn of all extensions, then refresh, then add the extensions again one by one and see which extension might be causing this. For me, it was the my dark mode extension
