TRAV

I remember the first time I met Dylan Rodriguez. It was one sweaty encounter I’ll never forget.

The second time we met, he arrested me. I can still see the hot scowl on his beautiful face as he slapped handcuffs on me and realized I was … me.

Dylan’s main goal in life is to forget he ever met me. My goal is to make him mine.

Turns out, I'm better at this game than he is.

DYLAN

When my law enforcement career falls to pieces in front of my own eyes, I don’t know who I can trust.

I have nowhere to go. No one to turn to.

Asking Trav for help is a last resort, but I’m desperate.

If he can’t get me out of this mess, I may as well turn myself over to the guys hunting me down.

I’m not sure which will be more protecting my life or my heart.

Because when it comes to love, my heart wants what my brain doesn’t. It wants Travis West.

This was yet another fun story in the quirky and fast-paced Mike Bravo universe, with everything from hired contract killers to Iris with his favorite grenade launcher. 🙂

As the story began, military contractor Travis West had, unbeknownst to him, DEA agent Dylan Rodriguez pushed up against the wall of a bar's bathroom stall "releasing some stress". Only to later see Dylan, in a professional capacity, slapping handcuffs on Trav.

[My take on Trav...]

Fast forward seven years of Trav periodically crossing paths with Dylan, taunting the agent at every turn, only to see Dylan betrayed, framed for murder, and in danger of being killed.

[My take on Dylan...]

With no way of knowing who he could trust, Dylan reluctantly admitted there was only one person who could keep him alive and help clear his name. His old nemesis, Travis West.

My favorite part of the book was the constant game of cat and mouse between the pair, with tons of joking from Travis about them being soulmates and someday getting married.

However, the most eye-opening, impactful thing about the book was when Trav, in all seriousness, revealed to Dylan that "I've never lied to you", which really helped Dylan realize that the years of antagonization were actually master-class-level, suuuuuper-awkward flirting on Travis' part.

So after years of only seeing situations in black or white, Dylan was forced to see that, although Trav and Mike Bravo often operated in extremely gray areas, that didn't make them the bad guys, which I think helped allow Dylan to be more receptive to his growing feelings for Trav.

When Eden gave me the ARC, she noted that some reviews mentioned that this one may have been overly-steamy, but I didn't really get that. If she hadn't mentioned it, pretty sure I would've just thought it had the same, usual amount of steam as her previous stories.

If you enjoyed the first book in the series, this one was just as fun and I especially loved getting more Iris & Saint toward the end here, so I'd rate it at around 4.25 stars and highly recommend it.

Rogue is book two in the Mike Bravo Ops series by Eden Finley. I loved the first book in this series, Iris, so I’ve been waiting impatiently for the next book. And it was amazing. This one was so much fun. The banter was hilarious and the sexy times were scorching. And then there was the swoon factor which is off the charts. Trav turned me into a melted puddle of goo and I loved every second of it.

When Travis West left the military, he had one goal, to give his LGBTQ brothers a place to work where they could feel safe. That’s where Mike Bravo Ops was born. A security company that kind of works in the gray area between legal and not legal. Trav always considered himself non-relationship material. That was until seven years ago when he had the hottest encounter he’s ever had, the only time he wanted to get someone’s number, to get to know a man better. But then that same man slapped a pair of hand cuffs on him and arrested him. You’d think that would have been a mood killer. But not for Travis.

Dylan “Rogue” Rodriguez is a DEA agent. Seven years ago he and Travis shared the hottest encounter he’d ever had. But when he mistakenly thought Trav was part of a drug deal, he arrested him. In the seven years since, Trav always finds a way to get involved in his cases, sharing information, getting him good intel. But Trav also loves to antagonize him, driving him crazy. They can’t stand each other. But, when Dylan finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and witnesses something that put’s his life and future with the DEA in jeopardy, he has no one to turn to, no one to trust, except one person, Trav.

All these years, Trav has hidden his feelings for Dylan with snark, by pushing him away. But now Dylan needs him. This is his chance to finally let Dylan know him for the man he really is. To finally let him see just how he really feels. Protecting Dylan is the most important thing he has ever done. He will not let anything happen to him, he will get him his life back. And hopefully, it can also be the start of something else.

“Being with him again, being this close to him, I know what we are. Inevitable.”

I loved every minute of this. I swooned so much. I actually got frustrated with Dylan a couple of times for not taking Trav seriously, for pushing him away. But Travis West is very persistent. And he in deed did wear him down. And Dylan was able to see Trav’s true feelings. At the same time, the bad guys always seem to be one step ahead of Trav, Dylan, and the team. Prepare for lots of guns, lots of explosions, lots of men having fun with their toys!

“He’s breaking my soul and putting it back together again. He’s putting me first. He’s giving me everything.”

Most of all, prepare to fall in love with these two. I sighed so much. I smiled so much. And I swooned so much. I was also on the edge of my seat as they tried to find a way to bring the bad guys down. This was fun, sexy, and fast paced. I don’t know what this author has planned next for this series but I can’t wait to find out.

This book was truly trying very hard to be funny. Uncomfortably so. It has lots of forced banter and sexual innuendos, but it all fell completely flat and left me feeling bored and annoyed.
And I could have perhaps somewhat dealt with all that if it weren't for the fact that I felt absolutely zero connection to the characters or the plot. This book had absolutely nothing going for it.

Trav really got on my damn nerves. He could never be serious for longer than a second and he was constantly making annoying flirty jokes. He was a literal man-child at 41 years old.
And even though Dylan himself was pretty annoying as well, I could still never see him falling for a guy like Trav. So it seems incredibly unrealistic that he somehow did.

Their dynamic was just inauthentic and bad, and I didn’t like either of them individually or together. Their relationship is based on absolutely nothing, and I just didn't see the love there.
I suppose the only thing I could sort of appreciate was how obsessed Trav was with winning Dylan over, but it kind of loses its charm when we never got to see how or why Trav became so infatuated with him in the first place. It's all so random.
And honestly, the way Trav goes about flirting with Dylan was absolutely horrendous as well. Just awful.

“I joke about being with you because I actually want it, but by fucking with you, I know you’d never go for it. It makes the rejection sting less when I’m expecting it. If you see me as a joke, there’s no way you could ever fall for me.”
Dylan whistles. “That’s fucked up.”

I couldn’t wait for this book to be over and it really wasn’t fun whatsoever.
I’m genuinely kind of sad about it since I was truly looking forward to reading this. I had super high expectations for this couple from the previous book and the premise sounded great, but it simply did not deliver. I’m definitely disappointed.

I had to skim to get through this one.

The banter was OTT and overwhelming. Two grown men only being able to communicate by giving each other shit is not cute.

The suspense plot was disappointing as well. Trav and Dylan are forced to hide because Dylan is blamed for a drug deal gone wrong when his supervisor is actually a dirty cop who tries to kill Dylan.

It's an interesting premise, but Team Bravo just looked like a bunch of idiots who couldn't get their shit together.

The ending also sucked. All the hints about marriage, but first Dylan arrests Trav, then they go to a strip club. So romantic. 🙄

I won't be reading the rest of the series.

*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.***
Rogue is the second installment in the Mike Bravo Ops series that features Travis and Dylan. I really enjoyed this story featuring two stubborn guys who have an instant connection that affects them both personally and professional for years.

How Trav and Dylan first meet is not only problematic for their professional careers, but also for their personal lives considering how deeply affected they are by their encounter. What follows next is a series of tense and complicated interactions that are hilariously entertaining.

The overall mystery of Rogue is discovering why Dylan is being framed for a crime he didn't commit while seeking Travis's help. The progression from investigating the overall mystery while trying to ignore the obvious chemistry between Trav and Dylan is very entertaining and the chemistry between the two is magnetic. They have great banter, which makes for a fun and enjoying read.

Overall Rogue is a great follow up to Iris and it was fun seeing the team through different perspectives. Rogue balances the action and romance very well, making you swoon with all the sweet moments between Trav and Dylan.

Swoon /5 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Another entertaining, light & easy read from Eden Finley! The second in the Mike Bravo Ops series, I’m really loving this big, crazy found family. Trav is the founder & boss of MBO, so committed to his work and business that he has no time for relationships. Or is it that he’s holding out for Dylan (Rogue), a guy he had a quickie with 7 ryears ago who continues to be in his orbit through work?

Swoon: While Trav’s sarcastic banter is the way he most often shows his feelings to Dylan, he can be quite swoony when he talks about how important Rogue is to him. His protectiveness & constancy in his belief of their inevitability- yummy. And once Rogue catches up, the two are so lovely together.

Angst: Eden’s books are mostly angst- free zones, and I’m here for that! There’s a bit of angst around Dylan’ job, and the violent showdown with the baddies in the last 25% makes you hold your breath, but it’s not too dramatic.

Steam: When these 2 muscled alphas have s3xy times… phew. Especially when they both catch feels.

Plot: I really enjoy the fast-paced storyline about the MBO team dealing with corrupt law professionals. While the relationship arc is predictable, the rest of the storyline isn’t and I ATE IT UP.

LOLs: Between Trav’s sarcastic flirting with Rogue, and plenty of scenes with jokester Iris, there’s plenty of laughs. There always is with Eden’s books, and it’s a lot of the reason why I enjoy them so much.

Honourable mentions to Princess Smooshy Face, and teasers about Atlas’ (currently undercover in a strip club!), & Domino’s stories in the future!

I gratefully received a complimentary copy & this is my honest review. Check out my reviews and MM content on Instagram, Facebook, and Bookbub, all under the same name!

I loved Iris and Saint's book but I have to say, Trav and Dylan have taken my heart and wrapped themselves round it so tight I don't think they'll ever leave.

The opening chapter, which takes place seven years before this story, was insanely hot, like we're taking straight into one of the most volcanically explosive sex scenes I've read.

But what made it special is, even from then, you could tell there was more to it than just the lustful fulfilment of desire.

They spend the next seven years with the ex-Ranger driving the DEA agent round the twist, teasing, offering him insights into cases which he's able to complete and lock up the bad guys and always with the offer of his body for another night of passion.

Trav's smitten from the off and he wants Dylan to be his forever - although he's also terrified of those feelings and does his best to push the other man away with his constant joking around.

On his part, Dylan keeps his feelings locked up tight and Trav's constant goofball, Labrador style exuberance whenever they meet, is getting harder and harder to resist. He knows Trav wants him, because he never stops telling him but Dylan can't trust that he means it for more than another night.

What I absolutely adored the most about this book is there's no stupid misunderstandings, there's no beating about the bush, no manipulation or manufactured drama. When Dylan comes to Trav for help, there's no question he'll put his life on the line to save him.

This book had everything I want in a romantic suspense, ex-military/Government Agency caper - it was funny, it was hot, it had action and adventure. It had my pulse racing, adrenalin pounding through my veins as the danger stakes got higher and higher.

It has pining, it has double crossing dirty agents, it has mishaps and RPG launchers (blame Iris, it's always Iris), it has Princess Smushy Face making a guest appearance and it has the rest of Mike Bravo doing what they do best - kicking butt and saving the day.

The tattoo scene towards the end of the book is both one of the most hilarious things I've read while also being one of the most romantic and it's this wonderful on the edge feeling that Eden so skilfully employs throughout.

There's various options on the cards for who's up next but I'm really hoping we're getting Atlas' romance next because I think that's going to be a doozy.

Also, this cover -  phoar!

Book safety, tropes and tags down below.

This one is hard to rate and review. In general, books where the MCs for whatever reason refuse to admit/aknowledge/confess their feelings annoy me to no end. Very rarely do I read a book where this plot line feels necessary. I know that’s massively just my own preferences, though. There’s nothing wrong with this book at all, but it does affect my view of the book.

I’m not sure if Travis West has been a big part of previous series by the author or not, but from what I remember of book 1, Iris, I was surprised by his personality and behavior in this one. From the previous book and the blurb, I was expecting a stoic and serious boss/man who felt he found something special in Dylan, and had pined for him since. I guess that’s all still true to some extent, but the relentless teasing, making light of the night they shared, endlessly making lewd jokes and comments.. it just didn’t jibe with what I was expecting. We did atleast get a serious conversation about the teasing and their feelings eventually, but it didn’t feel like a big enough deal? I don’t even know if that makes sense. I should just go to bed.

I maybe should have started with this though: I enjoyed the book. They’re both still generally likeable characters, and a romantic suspense book would have to be horribly bad for me not to enjoy some of it. It is my favorite genre, after all. It was nice to see more of Saint and Iris, and to get an idea of who Atlas is, which made me very excited to read his book. I’m giving this one 3.5 stars, but that isn’t in any way a bad thing. It just means I probably won’t read it again. The audiobook was very good, which isn’t a huge surprise considering Tim Paige was in it (oh, and Gomez Pugh, which was cool!)

The spice was top notch too. I don’t know how they had the time to f*ck that much while sort of being on the run, honestly. I’m impressed with their refractory periods as well. Solid studs, lol.

I had really high hopes for this one, but the constant banter and jokes were just a bit too much for me. It felt like the book was trying too hard to be funny.

Could have been poor timing on my part. Maybe I should have waited with reading it until the mood struck for such a book, but I didn't know what I was getting into when I started it.

Anyways, lots of people really loved this one so I can only say... Try for yourself ;)

Rogue is the second entry to Eden Finley's Mike Bravo Ops series. After a drug bust gone wrong, Dylan has to go to the one person he doesn't want to for help. He's being set up by a corrupt cop and Trav, with his Mike Bravo agency, is the only person Dylan can trust.

Dylan and Trav have some nice banter. Especially after their 'meet-cute' years prior. Where they hooked up in a bathroom and then later Dylan arrested Trav in relation to his case. But Trav was actually working undercover and led another department to solve it.

While the banter and smut was nice, I didn't really feel a connection between them. So the romance aspect was a bit lacking for me.

Plot wise, it was an interesting situation and had some nice action scenes. However, there was a lack of urgency or stakes so I never felt like any of our characters were in any danger. The bad guys have got a serious case of stormtrooper aim.

Is it just me or did Trav lose all of his sex appeal in this book? I thought he was all mysterious and intimidating but in this book he was a bit annoying? lol or maybe I was not in the mood for that much immaturity Lolol
I saw a review mentioning the banter was too much and yes, it was excessive at times. Dylan was ok, I didn’t love this book but it wasn’t bad either. Overall ok.

I read this while on vacation. It was the perfect book to read by the pool. Not too complicated, but interesting enough to spend some time with.

I like all these guys from Mike Bravo and I'm looking forward to more stories about them. Dylan and Trav make a cute couple. Though I was irritated by Trav's stupid jokes at times. I didn't find them funny at all. But I liked that Dylan was able to deal with him, and even though he is a little helpless at first and turns to Trav for help with his problems, Dylan is definitely a full-fledged partner in this relationship.

And this despite the initial dynamics in the bedroom. At first, I thought their roles in this relationship would be clearly defined. That's why I was surprised when everything changed, and Dylan was able to take matters into his own hands. I liked this change of dynamics and I find their relationship more interesting than I initially expected.

If you are looking for a lot of sex scenes, then you will not be disappointed. They are also quite varied, so there is no monotony, and they are good to read. Dylan and Trav's relationship is passionate, as befits an acquaintance they started with a quickie at the bar.

The plot about Dylan's problems is also good. I was curious how it would all be resolved. Although don't expect any mystery to be solved here. Dylan and Trav are more concerned with each other than with the Dylan’s problem, which is mainly dealed with by the Trav's boys. However, you will find a lot of fast-paced action, shootings, chases, and things like that.

As I said, I look forward to the next books and how the other boys from Mike Bravo will find happiness. This is great fun.

Kinda meh. I was expecting a little more.

In this we have Travis, the Mike Bravo voice and face and Rogue aka Dylan.

Travis had a casual hookup with Dylan 9y ago and since then he just couldn't take Dylan out of is head.

Dylan is just tired of Travis, he feels like the guy could stop talking about that one night years ago - what he doesn't realize is that Travis doesn't do that only to screw with him, but because he's obsessed with him-.

The book could be better but the sex was too over the top, every page they were having sex, he seemed superficial to me, I needed more connection.

I vonluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

It’s always a great day when there’s a new Eden Finley book out in the world!

We’re back with the Mike Bravo crew, this time with their founder & leader Trav! I’ve been dying to know more about him since we first met him 2 years ago(!!!!) in “Pop Star”, and EF delivered, as usual.

This book starts off with a bang …. I’ll uh. see myself out. 👋🏻
Just kidding! Well not really. YOU’LL SEE.

“Rogue” is funny and exciting from the get go. Trav and Dylan have undeniable chemistry, and their relationship is certainly an i n t e r e s t i n g one.

Trav’s idea of flirting conveniently drives Dylan Rodriguez up a wall, but when the DEA agent finds himself in an impossible situation, he has no choice but to run into the arms of the ex-soldier.

In this one you’ll find
💙 Hookup to (one sided) rivals to lovers
💙 Forced proximity
💙 A very protective ex-soldier
💙 His long standing crush on a prickly DEA agent
💙 Found family

The good
+ Princess Smooshy Face
+ The bond between the guys at Mike Bravo

The neutral
o This book's plot was even more unbelievable than Iris', which may not seem possible, but it was. Especially the aftermath (or lack thereof) was really unrealistic
o I wasn't a huge fan of the epilogue, because it was a weird situation and it didn't feel satisfying at all

The bad
- Trav. He was nothing like he seemed in the previous books he appeared in, and it was definitely not and improvement
- Trav didn't 'tease' Dylan, he bullied him and sexually harrassed him for seven years. Dylan expressed multiple times he was uncomfortable, that he hated Trav, and that he didn't like what was going on. Trav ignored it all and continued anyway
- When Trav explained to Dylan why he behaved the way he did, Dylan forgave him instantly. Trav could have ignored Dylan those seven years with the exact same results, but without hurting Dylan, and it would have been so much better for everyone involved
- Dylan started actually liking Trav, while Trav was still a giant asshole. I hate it when characters get away with being assholes for no reason whatsoever
- I don't understand at all how Dylan could be sexually attracted to a manchild like Trav. There was no tension on-page, only hate from Dylan's side, until the author suddenly decided there was sexual tension all along and they banged. Ugh
- Trav said he never lied to Dylan, which was a lie. Just a few chapters earlier, Dylan had asked straight out if there were any updates, and Trav lied and said there was nothing
- Dylan found out Trav never lied, which meant all his talk about being soulmates and eventually getting married was really something Trav wanted. In response, Dylan thought casual sex would be the best solution. Now, I understand Dylan was in a very difficult place mentally, but if he cared about Trav, he wouldn't have toyed with his feelings like that
- Trav and Dylan were just incompatible. Trav likes breaking the law and blowing things up for fun, and Dylan likes following the law and trying to change the system from within. And while Dylan did try to understand Trav's side of things, Trav never tried to understand Dylan's side. Instead he only judged, judged, judged and made fun of Dylan
- Trav called Dylan dumb
- Atlas said he didn't want to go on a certain mission, and Trav just sent him anyway... Yeah, Trav is such a great boss

This relationship was based on nothing more than non-existent sexual tension. The previous book made me so excited for this story, but it was a huge disappointment. I can't stress enough how much I hated Trav in this book. I was really looking forward to this, but it didn't deliver. I also hope next book is about Atlas, and that it won't be such a shitshow. However, being forced to go on an assignment he doesn't want to do seems like a bad start to me...

Considering how low Sadenverse has been rating lately I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It makes me look forward to the rest in the MBO series.

I loved their witty rapport and vulnerability with each other 💙

🏳️‍🌈 no 3rd act breakup (hallelujah)
🏳️‍🌈 found family
🏳️‍🌈 opens with a💥
🏳️‍🌈 forced proximity

I read this both on KU and Hoopla (audiobook). I'd recommend the KU version unless you're wanting an audio. I felt the way the narrators voiced so many characters sooooo differently to be a bit jarring. One example is the side character Hale (sp?). Gomez made him have an almost surfer boy accent but Paige had him with a normal accent. It wasn't a huge deal but I'd almost have preferred to only have one narrator (gasp) which I hardly ever do.

This book was just so enjoyable to read for me. I had so much fun reading this one. I often found myself just laughing out loud at the characters and their actions. The dynamic and the banter between the two main characters of this book just really worked for me. They had such a good dynamic, it was one where they always joked with each other but where it just worked for them. And it really worked for me and it was just so much fun to read. Their dynamic just really made the romance work for me and I loved it, so much.

This book was exactly what I needed at this moment in my life and I just really appreciated it.

What happened to the Trav from book 1?! The Trav in here was not the Trav from book 1.

Rogue was so disappointing. Trav took nothing seriously and the banter between him and Dylan was beyond ridiculous. It wasn’t really funny and the humor seemed forced. Forced humor is incredibly unpleasant. I had second hand embarrassment.

The plot was mediocre. Dylan was blamed for a crime he didn’t commit by his dirty boss and had to go to Trav for help. The whole team acted juvenile and I didn’t see a professional band of for hires.

The steam in here was off putting because Trav and Dylan were constantly giving each other crap. It wasn’t cute. It wasn’t sexy. And the ending was a letdown. I don’t even know how they fell in love. I mean seriously…they said the words but how did they get there? I couldn’t even tell when Trav was being serious.

I wanted to love this but it was just so OTT with the banter, I couldn’t enjoy it.

I’m sad to say this is my least favourite read in a very long time as I’ve previously really enjoyed a lot of Eden Finleys work. I loved her early books but the recent ones have been disappointing. I’m not sure if its my tastes changing or the writing but I am finding the banter really forced and not at all humorous. All the flirting just makes me cringe and the characters feel flat and unappealing. I couldn’t find anything compelling about this story. The overgrown man-child ness didn’t do it for me and given how these characters act I don’t see how they could possibly run anything like what they do. If the characters have chemistry I can suspend all disbelief for these things but as I didn’t feel anything for the characters this just irked me.

I normally like military/action style books but I don’t enjoy the way the OTT ‘blow up your house with a grenade launcher’ style is incorporated into the plot here. If there was a strong plot with real action, proper assassins, undercover work and clever intrigue I could appreciate some random almost humorous explosions, but the way this was trying to be slapstick and funny the entire time just didn’t work for me.

I very nearly DNF’d this many times but my OCD brain wont let me leave a book unfinished. Think it’s time for me to give this author’s books a break.

Oh geez. I’m in two minds with this one.

I absolutely adore Trav. I like Dylan. And I can totally get on board with the group of man-children that work for Mike Bravo and like to blow shit up.

But I think this book came too early in the series. In book 1 Iris we get glimpses of Trav and Dylan’s relationship through small moments that were funny and intriguing. I really feel like these should have been sprinkled throughout the series in order to build the tension and their
background as there’s not really enough on-page relationship progression from what amounts to a work relationship built around sarcastic banter to love here, considering they’d known each other 7 years. I guess I just needed to see it, not be told about it. But that doesn’t mean there weren’t plenty of sweet moments in this. Trav letting his guard down after after years locking up his heart is his own brand of love, and I’m here for it.

Also, the dirty DEA plot was fairly weak. I’m kinda glad it was hidden in the background for the most part because I wasn’t really intrigued, enthralled, nor did I feel any sense of urgency about it.

But still, aside from my issues, this was an enjoyable book where Trav shines, it just didn’t blow me away like I’d hoped.

Still onboard for the series though. Mike Bravo all the way.

Honestly I think if Dylan’s narrator wasn’t Gomez Pugh, this would have been a higher rating. Audiobook is on Scribd now with Tim Paige and Gomez Pugh.

It could be my mood, but to me this wasn’t as good as other Eden Finley books.

Idk I did like that there was more action in this book than in Iris’s but idk i think I was too caught up in the narration that it took me out of the book. Why couldn’t it have been Tim Paige and Iggy Toma or something..ugh can’t have it all 😂

Kept me entertained but also kinda bored.. probably won’t remember much of it by tomorrow haha.

I am hoping Atlas’s book is next or maybe Domino (who could hopefully be secretly bi…🤔😏 just my dream to have his book too) but I will continue with this series because I still love military romances haha.

My only complaint with this story is the small timeframe. The first few scenes are set seven years in the past when Trav and Dylan met for the first time and the two last chapters are actually two epilogues set a few months after the main events of the story. The rest of the chapters, however, are all taking place in less than a week. Add to that that the MCs weren't a couple from the start and had a rather antagonistic relationship where they only crossed paths here and there in work related situations and I find the progression of their romantic relationship to be super fast.

Given the plot, I know that the events happening here couldn't have been stretched across several weeks or months, but again their starting point and how fast they progressed from that didn't work for me.

But that's the only thing that I didn't like. I loved the characters, I was very excited to see Iris and Saint again along with the rest of the Mike Bravo team. Of course Princess Smoochy Face was there too and she was the star of every scene she was in.

I like the camaraderie the members of the team have with each other and how close they are. I like that this is a light hearted series with action scenes and not just a simple action story filled with tough guys running around with scowls and bursting with testosterone. Yes, maybe the characters are ridiculous at some points and they don't always act their age, but that's what pulls me to these stories and makes me want to come back for more.

I think that maybe Atlas will get his story next, but it's just a hunch because of some scenes in the book. I don't know if the author has shared who's next yet but I look forward to all the rest of the team member's stories.

Did this book made me wanna be on the run and hiding! Hell ya.
It feels fun except the part of being killed.

The last interaction between them with the families was hilarious haha. I loved both guys! Their chemistry was peak perfection.
(When Dylan speaks Spanish, it sends me to my knees)
