I had to skim to get through this one.
The banter was OTT and overwhelming. Two grown men only being able to communicate by giving each other shit is not cute.
The suspense plot was disappointing as well. Trav and Dylan are forced to hide because Dylan is blamed for a drug deal gone wrong when his supervisor is actually a dirty cop who tries to kill Dylan.
It's an interesting premise, but Team Bravo just looked like a bunch of idiots who couldn't get their shit together.
The ending also sucked. All the hints about marriage, but first Dylan arrests Trav, then they go to a strip club. So romantic. 🙄
I won't be reading the rest of the series.

Aww, again? That's what I didn't like about the first one. I'll put this one on the back burner. There are so many others I want to get to then. Sorry it didn't work for you.

I didn’t make it beyond the first few pages of the first book. I quit reading it thinking it must have been my mood. Now I’m thinking I dodged a bullet.
