Uhmm... Drink deep is supposed to be published this year, 1st of November.
I really hate when books get added that don't qualify in the list like Jeaniene Frost's One Grave at a Time and Chloe Neill's Deep Drink

Easily fixed!

Yikes, this list was a mess. I think I removed about 15 books that didn't belong. Why are people adding books released this year and last? Strange.

Got it. I deleted a bunch more that snuck on as well. If anyone else finds some that came out before 2012, just click the "edit" button at the top under the title. You'll come to a new page where you can get rid of duplicates and books that don't belong. Four pages of books is a lot for me to go through ...

Would love to see next year's offerings in the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire on here.
Also, Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen? I think that's misplaced.

Feel free to add the McGuire - you don't have to wait for someone else to do it. (I won't add it because I'm not a fan of the series.)
As for the Austen - I don't see it? Someone must have removed it before I got here. Also, read my post in message 9, you can edit this list yourself when you see something wrong.

And I've deleted another handful of books. I really don't understand why people find this list confusing - books from 2004 don't belong!
Can't wait for these to launch!
Blind Sight Through the Eyes of Leocardo Reyes
Blind Sight Through the Eyes of Aniela Dawson

Deleted Ashfall, Tankborn, Torn, Crossed and Glow (all pub 2011). Also deleted Requiem and the third book in the Chemical Garden Trilogy (pub 2013).
Deleted Shadow Heir, Head Rush, Instinct, Catalyst, Dorchester Terrace, Undercurrent, Reaper, Midnight Sun (really?), The Gates of Paradise (you could have done this, Cassandra!), and The Black Hawk.
2012, people. 2012!

No, Becca announced a fourth book earlier this year :).

Wow. I only got as far as page two but if this is what people are reading (enough that it constitutes a whole list) we are in trouble. Am I the only one that finds this sad?

How could this possibly be sad? People are reading!

I saw some 2011 releases on this list as well. Guess some people didnt realize their anticipated books were already out.

I think it's sad you feel the need to put people down because of the books they like.

Thanks Rh3a, great list giving me lots of adds to my wishlist that I had no idea were even coming out :)
I'm a little sad that most of these books are paranormal romance. I thought we were over that trend? Also somewhat surprised at the number of series. I can't wait for the final in the "Matched" trilogy, though...but I still need to read the second one!
Worked my way through two pages, but all I spy is paranormal romance and series. These are not my anticipated books of 2012!
Isla and the Happily Ever After comes out oon 2013.... Stephanie Perkins announced it on her blog about a week ago :)

I will believe it when I see it that "The Doors of Stone" by Patrick Rothfuss comes out in 2012. The Goodreads page says 2013 and that sounds about right.
I can't police this list anymore, when I see books from 2007 on it I die a little inside.
Nobody apparently reads my comments either.
Sad face.

I just removed The Initiation which came out almost two decades ago.

That's almost never the case, unfortunately. The edition of that book I deleted was from 2002 anyway. I deleted the first Dark Hunter, the first BDB, the first Fablehaven book, and a handful of others just now too.
There is a new annotated Jane Austen book that I've left alone because it's a legitimately new version of something. If people are excited about a translation or a new edition/version, then they need to add that specific ISBN. Otherwise this list is going to get mucked up a whole lot more.

True.
I started at the last page, and already deleted a couple of books either from 2011, or with release dates beyond 2012. But I've seen worse lists :)

I keep an eye on the PNR/UF series list (people can only list the first book in the series), and that thing mucks up faster than I can blink.
Went through the entire thing. Deleted all books that have a publishing date after 2012 (including Kate Daniels 6 and the 7th Mercy Thompson, since those are scheduled for 2013) and books that had a publishing date before 2012, INCLUDING the edition added to the list).
Edit for clarification: If the edition that was added to the list had a publication date for 2012, even if the original publication date was before that, I left it on, because people can look forward to a specific edition.

Very cool, thanks for taking the time!
Hopefully between the two of us now, we can keep it from getting screwed up.

Why are people over the "trend"? Did people stop reading horror or romance or scifi? People read what they like... what is wrong with that?

Nothing necessarily wrong with it, except that a lot of it is being published because it sells, and that doesn't always lead to good literature. I enjoyed paranormal romances, but you can only publish/read so many before you start telling the same story over and over.
