To Build a Fire is one of those short stories that, despite being short, they tell a catching story, here we enter the flesh of a man who is walking with his dog for the Yokon, one of the most extreme regions of the Earth.
As we walk with him we can see the freezing wreaking havoc on his body, here the temperatures are lower than 60 degrees Celsius above zero (-120 Farehnheit). This effects go from an iced beard, to lose all sensibility on his finger. London does not only tell us the problems from the man perspective, he also narrates from his dog perspective.
The main goal of this man is to get to his camp with his friends, but he forgot about something really important in that situation. He needs to build a fire to get warm, sadly he realizes this too late and to build a fire becomes a harder task than it should.
