The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste is located in South-East Asia and is known under the name of East Timor. It covers the eastern part of the island of Timor and the islands of Atauro and Jaco. This state belongs to a group of the Small Sunda Islands.
The climate is equatorial, humid and warm due to the influence of monsoon winds that prevail here.
