Four Skateboarding-Inspired Air Jordan 1 Lows Are Releasing This April
Wear your Air to the ground.

Following announcements that Nike SB and Jordan Brand will be releasing an Air Jordan 1 “Lakers” that transforms into a “Chicago” upon wear, the Beaverton basketball staple will be releasing a number of skateboarding-inspired Air Jordan 1 Lows.
Celebrating the AJ1’s skateboarding prominence, the low pack sees colorways such as the black-toe “Chicago,” the OG “Pine Green” and the highly-acclaimed “Taxi” colorway of “Sail/University Gold/Black”. Standing out from the pack is a pair of sandy suede lows with a “Gum/Hyper Pink” sole unit.
Unlike its hightop sibling, the lows will not reveal another much-loved colorway underneath its skin. However, they do feature the oversized heel cup Jordan ”WINGS” branding, “23” lace locks, Jumpman motifs on the tongue and carry a retro skating aesthetic throughout. With added interior padding and heel support, the Air Jordan 1 Lows feature an exaggerated tongue, wide flat laces and a well-cushioned Air-equipped sole unit – design elements which attracted skateboarders worldwide to the AJ1 silhouette.
The skate-ready Air Jordan 1 Low pack will start to roll out of Nike stores and select stockists worldwide from April 1, priced at $110 USD.
