With your bot just already did on less than 100 pages, I think I could delete it first before you start again. Editing the {{NowCommons}} could be effected on another file and could cause a problem. I don't know users who usually upload picture(s) which they take by themself. I think the best way: bot give tag in files which transferred to Commons. That's the easiest way to keep it faster and better. I want to ask you, if I find/have picture(s) which I took by my ownself, and I want to transffered it to Commons, how does it come? Thank you. • This edit has been reverted. Please do the same thing, if you find the same thing in another file.
• The license for Berkas:2002 ato kaz and nik.png has been changed. It's my fault in the past. Thank you for informing.

It's discussed in administrator mailing list, but there hasn't any result/decision there. Maybe you can start it at our village pump of policy. 1. Berkas:Lela naga.jpg : No, but this is scanned from History subject school textbook issued by Indonesian government, which the photos in them are always freely distributed and used throughout Indonesia for education purposes.

Maybe I can add template or categories based on that list to track them. But it has many 'false positive' like on Berkas:Kantor-camat-sukodono-sidoarjo.JPG because {{GFDL}} also transcludes another template. Btw it, says that image is from Google street view, I've read this page and I don't think it's GFDL. Even if using fairuse, this doesn't meet the criteria, because we can "expect someone to upload a freely licensed file for the same purpose". Isn't it? --Hidayatsrf (bicara) 15 Mei 2020 02.02 (UTC)

Some file had very wrong license, like Berkas:Карпухин Виктор Фёдорович.jpg it's from ru.wiki but licensed under {{PD-IDGov}}, that file should be fair use, like on source wiki. --Hidayatsrf (bicara) 15 Mei 2020 02.11 (UTC)

Fixing license

About Berkas:Pangkolinlamil Yudo Margono.jpg, i'm not exactly "fixing" it because what i did was just archived the link in case the source get taken down. It's still a bad source though since it's just a direct link. I tried using Wayback Machine but couldn't find the proper source either.

For File:Fadjar Prasetyo, Commander of the Indonesian Air Force Operational Command 1.jpg, i managed to find the proper source in the Wayback Machine by matching the archived date with the time the subject served his office and fix the license. -- Lord Yeager (bicara) 21 Mei 2020 03.52 (UTC)

@Albertus Aditya: There is a bug they are working on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T253405 but I hope it will work soon. I moved all the files from en.wiki to Commons to make it possible to use the files everywhere. --MGA73 (bicara) 23 Mei 2020 14.43 (UTC)

Thank you Hidayatsrf. There many files in Kategori:Files with no license and I just thought that the ones that are not used could be a good place to start. I updated my sandbox with files that are not used in articles but "only" in other pages. --MGA73 (bicara) 9 Juli 2020 06.31 (UTC)

Free files check

Hi MGA73. Thanks for your notification here. It does seem like a lot of work, and I'm not sure whether we have sysops who could coordinate this matter right now using automated process. We are developing a new version of the Copyright Policy, which has not been ratified by the community yet. I would suggest you to contact RaFaDa20631, who I would say knows more about the state of copyright among idwiki sysops, and see if there is anything that could be of help. I would say that such big change on the files should be at least receive consent from the community. Best regards, dwf² ✉ 25 April 2021 16.47 (UTC)

@David Wadie Fisher-Freberg: Thank you for your message. Yes I agree that it is a lot of work but per wmf:Resolution:Licensing_policy every Wiki must check files and make sure that they either have a valid free license or meet the reguirements for fair use.

It will be much easier for the idwiki sysops to make sure everything is okay if all new files are monitored so that users are told what is okay and what is not okay before they upload a lot of files. Also it is much easier to check while uploader is still active. Because the uploader should be able to answer the question very easy: "Are you the photographer?"
