We obtained them by employing the semiclassical perturbation theory for temperatures, T, within the 5000-100,000 K range, and for a grid of perturber densities from 10 14 cm-3 to 10 20 cm-3. The presented Stark broadening data are of interest for the analysis and synthesis of ionized tin lines in the spectra of hot and dense stars, such as, for example, for white dwarfs and hot subwarfs, and for the modelling of their atmospheres. They are also useful for the diagnostics of laser-induced plasmas for high-order harmonics generation in ablated materials.

Stark broadening parameters, full widths at half intensity maximum, and shifts for 34 multiplets ... more Stark broadening parameters, full widths at half intensity maximum, and shifts for 34 multiplets of singly charged zinc ion have been calculated using the impact semiclassical perturbation formalism. Stark broadening parameters due to collisions with electrons, protons, and helium ions have been obtained for a grid of electron densities and temperatures. The obtained results have been used to demonstrate the influence of Stark broadening mechanism on spectral lines of Zn II in stellar atmospheres.

According to the motives that are present in stories and iconography of St. Elias, it is possible that this myth originated in much earlier times than the times when the Old Testament was written. Mentioning of the bull sacrificing could mean that it originated in the epoch from fourth to second millennium B.C., and that it is connected to the catastrophic event caused by fall of a celestial body.

The examined range of frequencies covers the IR, visible, UV, XUV up to X regions and the considered electronic number density and temperature are in the ranges of 1021 cm-3 ? Ne ? 5?1024 cm-3 and 2?104 K ? T ? 106 K, respectively. The data obtained using this method are important for plasma focus research, laboratory plasma research, investigation of atmosphere plasmas of astrophysical objects like white dwarfs with different atmospheric compositions.

Zr II & III electron-impact broadening parameters

For two Zr II and four Zr III astrophysically important UV lines, only electron-impact widths are given, since for their calculation the experimental oscillator strengths were used and consequently the accuracy of the parameters is lower than in the case of other lines. The influence of the electron-impact mechanism on line shapes and equivalent widths in hot star atmospheres was also considered. The impact of the electron-impact broadening effect on abundance determination, particularly its effect on "zirconium conflict" is discussed as well. (2 data files).

His work and life, and his model of the Universum, are considered here.

As a continuation of the previous investigations of the symmetric and strongly non-symmetric ion-... more As a continuation of the previous investigations of the symmetric and strongly non-symmetric ion-atom absorption processes within the models of the quiet Sun photosphere, we studied these processes within a model of the sunspots in the far-UV region. We considered the processes of the photodissociation of the H2 and HM + molecular ions and absorption processes in the H(1s)+H and H(1s) + M collisions, where M is one of the metal atoms: M = Na, Ca, Mg, Si and Al. The significance of these processes in far UV and EUV regions in comparison with the concurrent absorption processes, especially with the processes of the photo-ionization of the metal atoms (Na, Mg, Ca, Al, Fe, etc.) was analyzed. Calculated results show that the influence of the analyzed ion-atom absorption processes on the opacity of sunspots in the considered spectral region, 100 nm ≤ λ ≤ 250 nm, is not less and in some parts even larger than the influence of the referent electron-atom processes. It is shown that the cons...

Also we compared those calculated Stark broadening parameters with estimates according to Cowley, Purić et al. and Purić and Šćepanović and checked the possibility to find some new estimates. It is demonstrated as well that the formula of overestimates Stark widths, obtained by using modified semiempirical method, with the increase of angular orbital momentum quantum number due to its neglection. It is also found that the results obtained by using formula for simple estimates of are in agreement with the modified semiempirical results within the estimated error bars of both methods, while the estimates using formula of are in strong disagreement which increases with the increase of angular orbital momentum quantum number.

Stark broadening parameters for Cr VI lines have been calculated using semiclassical perturbation... more Stark broadening parameters for Cr VI lines have been calculated using semiclassical perturbation method for conditions of interest for stellar plasma. Here are presented, as an example of obtained results, Stark broadening parameters for electron- and proton-impact broadening for Cr VI 4s 2S-4p 2P° λ = 1430 A and Cr VI 4p 2P°-5s 2S λ = 611.8 A multiplets. The obtained results are used to demonstrate the importance of Stark broadening of Cr VI in DO white dwarf atmospheres. Also the obtained results will enter in STARK-B database which is included in Virtual Atomic and Molecula Data Center - VAMDC.

Churches. In Serbian delegation were Metropolitan of Montenegro and Coast Gavrilo Dožić, who later become Patriarch of Serbian Orthodox Church, and Milutin Milanković. They came on the Congress with the proposition of calendar reform which author was Maksim Trpković. Serbian proposition was rejected by Congress as inconvenient and Milutin Milanković obtained task to elaborate a new one. In this contribution is discussed this calendar reform, its implementation in Orthodox churches and present state.
