#535.5 - Tympole live in small bodies of water, where they warn each other of danger by vibrating their cheeks and producing a sound that is high pitched and imperceptible to humans. As they grow, Tympole develop small legs that let them clumsily travel on land, though they still prefer to live in water, where they can more easily flee from danger. If threatened out of water, they will vibrate the bumps on their head to create minor earthquakes.

#536.5 - Palpitoad live both in water and on land, where they use their long, sticky tongue to immobilize opponents. As adults, they are capable of shooting a paralyzing liquid from their head bumps. Until then, they rely mainly on their vibrations to hurt their prey. As they mature, Palpitoad grow small arms that will eventually become strong enough to deliver heavy punches. By the time their residual tail has shrunk away, their evolution is complete.
