About Sizing
To help you with choosing sizes please read below:
My stitch markers are made with solid closed jump rings. The rings are not adjustable so always choose a size slightly larger than the needles you want to use them with. This will give you the wiggle room you need for transferring from needle to needle. This is definitely a time when too big is better than too small.
Small rings- These fit Up to a US7 knitting needle. This needle size is used most often with thin yarns. Some projects that can be knit with smaller needles are socks, shawls, doll clothes or baby clothes.
Medium Rings- These fit Up to a US10 knitting needle. This needle size is used most often with medium weight yarns or worsted yarns. Some projects that may be knit with medium needles are sweaters, blankets, scarves, cowls, dishclothes.
Large Rings- These fit Up to a US11 knitting needle. These have wiggle room. They would actually fit a size 12 needle if there was such a size. This needle size is used most often with heavy weight yarns. Some projects that may be knit with medium-large needles are sweaters, blankets, scarves, cowls.
Extra Large Rings- These fit Up to a US15 knitting needle. This needle size is used most often in knitting with bulky weight yarns. Some projects that may be knit with large needles are sweaters, blankets, scarves, cowls.
Lobster Clasps
Choose these if you want to use stitch markers with your crochet project. They are also great as a removable marker in knitting. Use them by attaching them right to your stitches instead of placing them on the needles.
I use 3 different sizes 12mm, 14mm, 23mm. I recommend the 12mm for fine gauge yarn, 14mm for medium weight yarns, and the 23mm for bulky weight yarns.
