The designer, teacher, and face behind Just Be Crafty. In my journey as a fiber artist, I’ve had the pleasure of designing lots of crochet and knitting patterns and creating a vibrant community of fellow makers who share enthusiasm for making things with yarn. I’m here to inspire and support you every step of the way.

The start
I started Just Be Crafty back in 2012 shortly after learning to crochet. I quickly started making my own designs and figuring out new techniques. Just Be Crafty became my creative space to share tips, tricks, resources and free patterns with other crocheters and those just learning. I’ve loved knitting since I was a kid, and enjoy sharing helpful resources and patterns for that as well.

After running Just Be Crafty for 7 years, I took a leap of faith and left my day job to follow my designing dreams full time. So here we are, crafting and creating together, and I couldn’t be more grateful for your company on this incredible journey!

Day in the life
I live in Erie, Pennsylvania with my wonderful husband, Trisden, two beagles, Jake and Ellie, and Tiny One, our cat. If we’re not at the beach or spending time with friends and family, I’m knitting or crocheting on the couch and watching something good on TV.
