Xu Minghao, also known for his stage name The8, is a Chinese dancer, singer, songwriter and composer under Pledis Entertainment. He is the lead dancer, sub vocalist and sub rapper of the boy group SEVENTEEN. He is also a member of their group's performance unit SVT PERFORMANCE Team.

The8 debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN on May 26, 2015 with the mini-album 17 Carat. Years later, on June 9, 2019, The8 made his solo debut through the digital single "Dreams Come True".
