After a short break, I am back and catching up on all things LEGO that have been new in-between.
I was thrilled to discover that Chris Pratt has posted an image of the character he plays in Jurassic World Owen Grady on his Facebook page. As you can see, it is not Chris first appearance in LEGO shape as he also portrayed Peter Quill a.k.a. Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (left) of whom two different versions were made. The designers at LEGO did not change the face design for his new figure, but seem to have chosen a different hair color.
Additionally Chris also voiced Emmet (right) in The LEGO Movie who received a total of nine different designs. This makes a whole lot of Chris Pratt to play with if you should choose to. Since his characters are all so much fun and parts of great movies, I hope for several more to come.
This Rocket Raccoon minifigure – that was or is only available at Toys'R'Us in the US – marks the 1000th minifigure in my collection. Quite a worthy addition for such a milestone, don’t you think?
I could be mistaken, but I think this is also another milestone for the minifigures as it is the first time the short leg piece has printing on it (sides and bottom).
