Stephen is a first rate pianist and teacher. I like that he intersperses theory, technique & even fun facts with the usual fingering, rhythm & tempo. He's a stickler for getting each piece just right, but does so gradually with lots of positive encouragement. I even bring "special songs" to my lessons which he helps me with alongside the lesson books. I continually learn lots from him and music adds so much to our home.

If you're anything like me, you get frustrated and stuck trying to learn everything you want to learn off of YouTube and other tutorials alone. Finding the right teacher who can answer questions in real time can also feel somewhat challenging. That's where Jay comes in! Not only is Jay a phenomenal artist, but he is a phenomenal teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable, clear, and patient. After even just one lesson, one can expect to walk away feeling revitalized and inspired to continue forward with their music and ideas.
