Alex "Zero" Russ, also known as ZeroSyndicate, is an American Fighting Games commentator and show host currently representing Tampa Never Sleeps.
Alex began his career in 2011 as a gaming journalist. His career would lead him to cover the Halo Championship Series in 2016 and introduce fighting games coverage to entertainment publisher Gamurscom. He began his tenure in commentary with Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and Killer Instinct tournaments; he has since been featured as a member of the commentary crew for numerous games and tournament series, such as EVO, Combo Breaker, Frosty Faustings, and Texas Showdown, among others.
He is also known for wearing a pair of LED glasses to his commentary blocks. Since 2018, he has become accustomed to wearing them at events.
