Constantine "Turuk" Arzhavitin (born May 19, 1992) is a retired Russian Terran player who last played for Vega Squadron.

Biography[edit]

Turuk played Warcraft III for a long time, but it was not until 2009 that he started playing seriously. He participated in several LANs but never made a big name for himself. He also played StarCraft: Brood War casually, and in September 2011 he decided to try and play StarCraft II on a competitive level.[1]

Only about a month after starting to play the game, Turuk joined "iAct Rebellion", a Russian team which he had also been playing Warcraft III with, but he left them January 2011[2] due to the team lacking sponsors.[1] From the beginning of 2011 until August the very same year, Turuk played for Incredible Panic, and he then was picked up by NewRoSoft, but the 30th of November 2011 he was announced to be a part of Virtus.pro,[3] an old e-sports organization which had just started up their first RTS-squad.

Turuk is mainly participating in online tournaments, and has yet to make an appearance on any major offline tournament. He has participated in several local Russian LANs however, among them the "Gorilla eXtreme Cup Spring 2011", which he won after beating ho8ot in the finals.[1]

He attended the 2012 DreamHack Open: Stockholm, falling in the third group stage after losses against Ret and Seiplo, and winning against Naugrim.

On December 31, 2012, it was announced that he left Virtus.pro.[4] He joined Cascade two weeks later.[5] His contract with Cascade expired on the 1st of June, and he decided not to extend it.[6]

On June 20, he signed up with another Russian team, Vega Squadron.[7]
