Pokémon Center lady
The Pokémon Center lady[1] (Japanese: ポケモンセンターお姉さん Pokémon Center lady), also known as the Pokémon Center Nurse[2] or receptionist (Japanese: うけつけのねーちゃん reception lady)[3], is an operator of a Pokémon Center. They facilitate the restoration of Trainers' Pokémon to full HP, and usually provide this basic service free of charge.
Among fans, the Pokémon Center lady is often mistaken for her counterpart introduced in Pokémon the Series, Nurse Joy.
In Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, they can be battled at the Battle Tree and Battle Royal Dome under the Trainer class Pokémon Center Lady (Japanese: ＰＣおねえさん PC Lady).
In the core series
A Pokémon Center lady operates every Pokémon Center in the Pokémon games (except the one in Po Town, which was taken by Team Skull), usually standing behind the counter and beside a machine which is able to heal the player's Pokémon to full health.
In the Pokémon Gold and Silver Spaceworld '97 demo, the lady at the Pokémon Center in Silent Hill is unable to heal the player's Pokémon due to ongoing maintenance.
In Pokémon Yellow, their appearance was changed to simultaneously reflect the artwork and resemble Nurse Joy as she appears in Kanto, the latter which was reinforced in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. They are also all accompanied by Chansey like Nurse Joy.
In Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, the lady in Fuchsia City has green hair instead of red.
In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, a lady named Casey (Japanese: メディ Medi) participates in Master Rank Super Contests with a Chansey nicknamed Pinky (Japanese: ちゃんしー Chansey).
In Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, the player's mom used to be a Pokémon Center lady, outright stated by her during a Xtransceiver conversation.[4] She has mentioned working at Nimbasa City[4] and is implied to have worked at Mistralton City.[5]
In Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there is an old lady on Mt. Chimney that states she used to be a "Pokémon Center girl".[6]
In Pokémon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon, Pokémon Center ladies named Mayu (Japanese: マッイ Ma'i) and Perri (Japanese: カマロリ Kamaloli) appear as Trainers that the player can battle in the Battle Royal Dome and Battle Tree respectively. They don't specialize in any specific type, but they have a preference for pink Pokémon and those with support capabilities. They keep their Pokémon in Heal Balls. In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, the player can customize Selene to wear a Pokémon Center Nurse outfit. This outfit can be obtained from the Game Freak offices in Heahea City after the credits.
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, although there are no Pokémon Centers, Pesselle highly resembles the Pokémon Center lady and serves as the Captain of the Galaxy Team's Medical Corp.

Pokémon Center ladies attend the Pokémon Centers of Orre, acting in the same capacity they do in the Generation III core series games. In addition, a Pokémon Center lady attends every checkpoint of the Mt. Battle challenge.
In the spin-off games
Pokémon Masters EX
The Pokémon Center of Pasio's Centra City is attended by Trista, Tricia, and Trinnia. While none of the three ladies heal the player's Pokémon directly (as they are healed automatically after completion of a given stage), they can assist the player in managing their teams, scouting new sync pairs, and accessing story content.

In animation
In Pokémon the Series and related media, the I Choose You! trilogy, and Pokémon Horizons: The Series, most Pokémon Centers are run by characters named Nurse Joy (Japanese: ジョーイ Joy, referred to as ジョーイさん Joy-san by most characters).

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon
In Real Life...Inquire Within!, Ash and his classmates substituted for Melemele Island's Nurse Joy as part of a work experience program. During this, versions of the uniform intended for male operators were shown, and were worn by Kiawe, Sophocles, and (after clearing a misunderstanding) Ash as well. The male uniform appeared again in Alola, Alola!, worn by Brock while he helped an ailing Yungoos as part of his Doctor training.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series
Mollie
In Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Mollie resembles a Pokémon Center lady, particularly those in Alola, and originally assisted in Pokémon Centers and trained to become a doctor, before deciding she wanted to travel and help wild Pokémon in need. Like Nurse Joy, she owns a Chansey.
Other
In HZ070, a Pokémon Center lady from Kitakami was seen at Mossui Town. She does not bear a resemblance to Nurse Joy and instead resembles the Mossui Town Pokémon Center lady from The Teal Mask.

Pokémon Origins
Pokémon Center ladies made a couple of appearances during Pokémon Origins, serving the same role as in the games. The first one was seen in Viridian City in File 1: Red, while another one appeared in Lavender Town in File 2: Cubone. Unlike in most other media, these ladies are different from each other, having different appearances and voices.
Pokémon Generations
Two Pokémon Center ladies from Lumiose City made a brief cameo appearance in the Pokémon Generations episode The Beauty Eternal, where they were seen during a televised interview with Lysandre. Similar to Pokémon Origins, they have unique designs that differ from one another.
Pokémon Evolutions
A Pokémon Center lady appeared in a cameo in the Pokémon Evolutions episode The Champion. Her outfit and appearance is the same as the Pokémon Center ladies in Pokémon Sword and Shield.

In the manga
The Electric Tale of Pikachu
In addition to Nurse Joy, several generic Pokémon Center ladies appear in The Electric Tale of Pikachu, first appearing in Clefairy Tale. They appear in a wide variety of outfits, which vary from city to city.
Pokémon Adventures
In Wartortle Wars, a Pokémon Center lady at the Celadon City Pokémon Center healed Red's Pika while Red received a call from Professor Oak.
In Pinsir Changes, a Pokémon Center lady at the Anistar City Pokémon Center was tied up as Essentia disguised as her to steal Y's Xerneas. Her appearance was based on the Pokémon Center lady within the Generation VI games.
Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys
A Pokémon Center lady appeared in A Promise Given to Miltank.
In the TCG
A Supporter card called Pokémon Nurse appears in the Expedition Base Set. The art on this card slightly resembles Nurse Joy from the animated series, but has blue hair. The nurse appearing on the card also seems to have been based on the games.
A second card, titled Pokémon Center Lady, debuted in the Flashfire expansion, both as a regular print and a Full Art card. Both have illustrations of Pokémon Center ladies from Generation VI.
