Baby John is an action thriller directed by Kalees stars Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Zara Zyanna, and Jackie Shroff. A remake of Atlee's 2016 Tamil film Theri, Baby John also draws inspiration from the 1990 Tamil film Chatriyan and the 2013 Hollywood film Homefront. In both versions, a former cop embarks on a mission to protect his daughter from past enemies.
