I like the art work for this cover but not a fan of the whole gradient effect on it. I'd rather preferred a simple base colour.

Another packed volume cover. Again, I would've liked to just see Roger, Whitebeard and Oden on this but it's a good alternative. We'll probably see some slight alterations before April when it is released.

I don't like it that much to be honest.

For the purpose of Wano arc, Oda altered his style to be more "japanesey", and that includes drawing the young flashback versions as "chibis" (Scabbards, especially Inu, Neko, Kawamatsu and Raizo) or chibi-ish like Shanks, Buggy, Teach, Marco and Jozu on this cover and in the flashback, with very round and juvenile proportions, they all look younger than they actually are in the flashback and I liked Oda's serious flashback designs more.

I was not expecting these colors. I thought Oden would be white.

I'm guessing he's orange because Oden is hot? Same as Oven
