റോക്റോസ് കുടുംബത്തിലെ സിസ്റ്റേസീയിലെ പൂക്കുന്ന സസ്യങ്ങളുടെ 20 സ്പീഷീസ് ഉള്ള ഒരു ജനുസ്സാണ് സിസ്റ്റസ് ( ഗ്രീക്ക് kistos ).മൊറോക്കോ, പോർച്ചുഗൽ മുതൽ മധ്യപൂർവ ദേശങ്ങൾ വരെ കൂടാതെ കാനറി ദ്വീപുകളിലും മെഡിറ്ററേനിയൻ പ്രദേശത്തെ വരണ്ടതും പാറസ്ഥലവുമായ മണ്ണിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന വാർഷിക കുറ്റിച്ചെടികളാണ് ഇത്.
പല സങ്കരയിനങ്ങളും, കൾട്ടിവറുകളും ഉദ്യാന സസ്യമായി വളർത്തുന്നു.
റോക്റോസ് (ബ്രിട്ടണിലെ റോക്ക് റോസ്) എന്ന സാധാരണപ്പേര് ഈ സ്പീഷീസിനുപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഹലിമിയം, ഹെലിത്താംഗം, ട്യൂബറേരിയ തുടങ്ങിയ എല്ലാ സ്പീഷീസുകളും സിസ്റ്റേസീ കുടുംബത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേരുന്നു. പൊതുനാമം ഗം സിസ്റ്റസ് റെസിൻ വഹിക്കുന്ന ഇനങ്ങൾ ആണ്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും സി. ലഡനിഫർ.
