Historical CC - Fairy Ring Dance Floor

An outdoor dance floor for historical or fantasy saves!

It’s designed to look like a fairy ring — a circle of mushrooms that has long been the subject of folklore and myth. They are often seen as dangerous or liminal spaces, linked with witchcraft or the realm of the fae.

You will need to place a music box or radio nearby to access all of the dance floor options.

Pagan Goddess Statue (Requires Snowy Escape)

I’m excited to share my first foray into custom tuning! I created this piece so that the secret pagans in my Medieval Village would have somewhere to worship, but it’d make a great addition to an ancient Greek or Roman town as well! ♡

The statue has a number of available interactions:

♢ Admire the Goddess triggers the View interaction, which has a chance of granting an Inspired moodlet.
♢ Make a Wish borrows the tuning from Snowy Escape’s Tanabata Wishing Tree and yields a Happy moodlet.
♢ Honor the Goddess triggers a bowing animation and gives the devotee a Confident moodlet (see image below).

♢ Sims with the Archaeology skill will have the option to Study for Historical Insights, and Snobs and Art Lovers will also benefit from additional interactions.

As with any piece of cc that employs custom tuning, the statue interactions may break after a major update. Please let me know if this occurs…and send me language string translations, if you are so inclined (I only have French and English so far).

Historical CC: Cuneiform Tablets

Cuneiform is an ancient writing system that first appeared in Mesopotamia around 3400 BCE. Distinguished by its wedge-shaped marks on clay tablets, cuneiform script is the oldest form of writing in the world, predating even Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Historical CC: Ancient Egyptian Lotus Accessory

I realize this is pretty niche, but hey, maybe other historical players are as gung-ho about ancient fashion trends as I am. This hair accessory is based on the single-stem lotus adornments that were all the rage in New Kingdom tomb paintings.

There are four versions: one was created to fit with this short hair by @daylifesims, one was created for this braided hair by @zurkdesign, and one was created to fit the basegame hair shown above. For those of you who don’t like the ancient style, you can download the fourth version, where the flower is tucked behind the ear. Special thanks to @simandy for giving me permission to use the petals from her mesh!
