My translations might be grammatically incorrect. I'm wondering whether the Burmese Wikipedia should make exclusive use of "literary" Burmese, because personally, even though I can speak Burmese with proficiency and write personal letters, it's quite difficult to get a hold of how to write in the literary form, using things like ဤ. Maybe we should create certain guidelines that specify that articles adhere to the rules of literary Burmese (၏ instead of ရဲ့ and တဲ့, ၌ instead of မှာ, etc.) while messages can be less formal? Then again, maybe it's because I wasn't educated in Burma. It just feels weird, working in the English Wikipedia where messages like these are written in a less formal and more direct manner, but when they get translated to Burmese, the messages get watered down, significantly. --Hintha 07:44, 7 ဇူလိုင် 2008 (UTC)
