Plot
Govind works for Rai Bahadur, a zamindar who favors the British. Vikramsingh is a rebel who is against the British. Govind is obsessed with Azaad, the stallion owned by Vikram. After Vikram’s death, Govind takes care of Azaad. But, Rai Bahadur’s men urge Govind to surrender Azaad, which leads to a challenge in horse-riding.
Star Performance
Ajay Devgan excels as Vikramsingh in his limited screen presence. Mohit Malik’s villainy performance is brilliant. Aaman, Rasha, and Diana Penty are perfect in their roles and serve justice to the characters undertaken.
Analysis
The first half moves briskly with Ajay Devgan’s captivating presence. The second half depends upon the writing accompanied by an interesting climax sequence. Though the stars performed well, it was Azaad who captivated everyone with his look. Though the writing is okay, the clash between the antagonist and protagonist should’ve been well-made. Amit Trivedi’s BGM worked out well. The climax horse riding scene was finely shot, which was well-elevated by Hitesh’s music. However, the makers should’ve showcased the British’s brutality properly. Those scenes should’ve been concentrated and shot to impress the audience. If the director had made a full effort, the film might have been completely engaging.

Verdict
Azaad has some impressive performances and an admirable climax horse riding scene. It is definitely watch-worthy.
