Elliot Mazer (6. september 1941–7. februar 2021) er ein USA-amerikansk lydteknikar og plateprodusent, mest kjend for arbeidet sitt med Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Band og Janis Joplin.[1] I tillegg har han arbeidd på film- og fjernsynsprosjekt for NBC og ymse sjølvstendige studio. Han har òg vore lærar ved University of North Carolina at Asheville og Elon University.
Mazer var konsulent ved Stanford University sitt Computer Center for Research in Music and Acoustics frå 1976 til 1984. Han designa det første heildigitale platestudioet i verda og var med å finne opp «D-zap», som var eit apparat som gjorde det mogeleg å avsløre mogelege straumsjokkfarar i studio. Mazer var direktør i Artificial Intelligence Resources Inc. seint i 1980-åra. Her utvikla han AirCheck Monitoring system, som han selde til Radio Computing Services (RCS). Frå 1989 til 2005 var Mazer visedirektør i New Business Development for RCS i New York.[2]
