About North Star Orchards

Our Story

Established in 1986, North Star Orchards started as a small roadside stand open only during the Fall months. Selling only the apples from a newly planted orchard, the farm grew over time as well as the size of roadside stand.  Extending earlier into the season allowed for more opportunity, as well as full -time business for George and Elaine Joseph.  Today the market is open 8 ½ months a year, has an impressive in- house bakery, multiple greenhouses and cider press.
