Times at the Farm are exciting. There are wonderful animals- friends with each other who find something interesting to pursue each day.
This Book besides being read by children, can also be a “read to your children” one. I am a grandmother who has spent precious time with my grandchild reading to him at bedtime.
I wrote ‘Trails- by the Farm’ to bring children closer to nature, she being so beautiful with different seasons, animals and birds, trees and streams, sunrise and sunset.
Marinella Proença
Marinella Proença lives in the village of Calangute which is in Goa. A lover of nature, she loves dogs and cats and feeds a murder of crows. Having a farm near her house, she has the opportunity to enjoy her early mornings there.
Having had the opportunity to observe all the happenings at the farm as well as around the farm, she was inspired to write a Children’s Book about all the various animals there and imagined a whole lot of goings on, giving voice to all the sweet creatures enjoying each day in a different way at the farm. There is a hillock by the farm so Marinella added a whole lot of animals and birds from the hill interacting with the farm animals. She also brings to her story the animals from the village. Marinella incorporates lazy days with exciting and mysterious happenings; bright sunny days with different seasonal episodes and most of all she has her animals talking.
Marinella is a Poet who authored a book of Poems. Her theme is always Pastoral. Besides one of her poems is in Anthology of a book published in the UK. Several of her poems have been published in an online woman’s magazine.
Marinella has written this Book to enthrall children to be happy around animals; to love and respect them.
