A fencing ring can be built in the combat ring space of the combat room in a player-owned house. It requires 41 Construction to build and when built, it gives 570 experience. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.

The rules are similar to those of a boxing ring: no armour, jewellery, or combat spells may be used in the fencing ring, however, a player may wield a weapon and use non-combat spells in the fencing ring. To use a fencing ring, one must have a weapons rack and an opponent.
