A mature wizard's mind bomb is a type of ale that restores 2 Hitpoints and temporarily boosts Magic by 2% +3, while draining Attack, Strength and Defence by 5% + 2 (see table below). It is the stronger version of regular wizard's mind bomb, created through brewing. Each batch of wizard's mind bomb has a chance to produce mature wizard's mind bomb.

6. Wait 1 to 1.5 days (or up to 5 days if the stuff was used) until the beer has fermented

Uses[edit | edit source]

This brew is generally more useful for non-combat spells, such as accessing advanced teleports or enchanting jewellery. The number of casts of a combat skill on just one drink is more limited than non-combat spells which may only need to be cast once. This ale can be used to meet requirements for some quests. It is fairly expensive, but is much cheaper (and quicker) than training 4 Magic levels, so it can be rather sought after at times by players who are just short of some spell they need to cast.

However, because a magic potion provides the same boost, is much cheaper, and does not lower other stats, this ale is not particularly useful to most players.
