FOR THE LORD!

Another wonderful day with Mother Barbara Whitsett, Barbara Coar, Lola Jackson, Pat Hunter and many staff members giving back to community. Did you know there are many of thousands of seniors still living in Cobb County and across the Nation. We are activity, sharing with one another and living together. Thanks to this group with their annuals Thanksgiving dinner in Austell/ Power Spring many did eat and it was topped off with the peace of holy music and dancing.

Mother Barbara Whitsitt and staff has continued to do their fund raisers each year by selling dinners to feed everyone the seniors and their families also. Yes, it brings families together with their parents and sometimes grand parents and great great grand parents who are in senior living facilities. The dancers from New Hope Baptist Church and New Rivers dance with grace and love. There was much laughter in the house, peace did abide and love topped it off with ice cream and cake. This Mother worked sun up to sun down to make it a great event for all, and it was. She worked very unselfish desiring for all names of workers to be known who helps and helped to put the annual dinner together. Thank You Ms. Barbara and everyone who helped to make this day a great success.

The community turn out was great. Dinner included Roast Turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, rolls, sweet potato souffle, and desserts. There were gifts, and much entertainment, and fun for all. Truly when church mothers comes together they know how to do it well. Seasoned Women of God and there was peace in the house. Everything was free.
