MCAS 2018: How Did Norwood High School Do?
For the last time, the results of the 10th grade "legacy" exam are in. They'll switch to the "next-generation" exam in 2019.
NORWOOD, MA — Next year, high school students will take a new MCAS test.
2018 was the final year for the traditional "legacy" exam, which was administered only on the high school level. All other students took the "next-generation" exam for the second year. That test will be take on the high school level in 2019.
So how did the 10th graders at Norwood High School perform on the final "legacy" MCAS exam? Below are the results:

English Language Arts
- Advance: 43 percent
- Proficient: 50 percent
- Needs Improvement: 5 percent
- Warning/Failing: 2 percent
Math
