SOMERVILLE, MA — The following reports were received by Somerville Police between Wednesday, Jan. 1 and Monday, Jan. 5
Wednesday, Jan. 1
3:20 a.m. — Police responded to a construction site on Medford Street after being told that a man trespassed on the property through an opening in the gate. A lock and chain was found on the ground.

Friday, Jan. 3
5:49 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an injured man on the corner of Broadway and Minnesota Avenue. The man was bleeding from his face after being punched by another man.

Saturday, Jan. 4
11:12 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a firearm after meeting with a person in the parking lot of 105 Middlesex Ave. who said another driver brandished a firearm after an exchange. The man claimed to have been tailgated by the person prior to the confrontation.
Sunday, Jan. 5
5:48 p.m. — Police responded to a report of breaking and entering at a residence on Sunset Road. Homeowner said money was missing from her room upon returning home from a holiday trip. Suspect identified.
