Eureka High School Names Interim Principal

Effective July 1, Deborah Asher will be the interim principal at Eureka High School.
Since 2003, Asher has served as both an associate principal and assistant principal. Prior to joining Rockwood, she served as a school administrator for eight years in the Sullivan C-2 School District, Neelyville R-IV School District, Alton R-IV School District and Lesterville R-IV School District. She also served as a math and science teacher for six years in Neelyville, MO, and as a social studies teacher for one year in Ellsinore, MO.
Asher earned a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and specialist degree in education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership at St. Louis University.
