ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - The North Hills School District next month will honor two graduates by presenting them with the district’s annual Distinguished Alumni Award: Dr. Jerry Yee and Carolyn Green.

Yee has been the head of the Department of Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Additionally, he also serves as a clinical professor of medicine in the department of medicine at Wayne State University and as the editor-in-chief of Advances in Chronic Kidney Disease, a publication of the National Kidney Foundation.

Green was the executive director, strategic investments, for Pfizer Research & Development where she was responsible for a strategic venture capital fund that invests in early-stage biotechnology companies aligned with Pfizer’s R&D strategy. Green, who lived in Waltham, Massachusetts, will be honored posthumously after passing away April 16 following a brief illness.
