2 Pedestrians Hit By Car In Cranston, Suffer Serious Injuries
Cranston police say weather was likely a factor in two pedestrians being hit by a car Tuesday night on Reservoir Avenue.
CRANSTON, RI — Two pedestrians were hit by a car in Cranston on Tuesday night, according to police.
Police said the pedestrians were struck around 10 p.m. on Reservoir Avenue near Norfolk Street. When officers arrived, they found two people suffering apparent head injuries. Police said the driver remained on scene.
Both pedestrians were taken to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence for treatment. Police said the injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

No charges were filed against the driver. According to police, alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash. Police said weather and visibility were likely factors in the crash, and neither pedestrian was in the crosswalk.
