Reston Association Hires New CEO

After a nine-month vacancy, the Reston Association has chosen Hank Lynch for the job.

RESTON, VA -- A Norfolk-based executive has been tapped as the new chief executive officer of the Reston Association, nearly a year after the position was vacated.

The Reston Association announced Tuesday that Hank Lynch was the unanimous selection of the Board of Directors to replace Cate Fulkerson, who resigned from RA in February after having served since 2013.

Lynch will move from Norfolk to Reston to start work as RA's CEO in January 2019, and he will report to the nine-member board. He will replace Larry Butler, RA's senior director of land use and planning who has been serving as acting CEO.
