Description

List of steps to reproduce (step by step, including full links if applicable):

Subscribe to Wikimedia-l in digest mode at some point in the past (for me over 5 years ago)
Get a daily digest email in your inbox, or well, not.

What happens?:
The last digest email I have received is from June 18 and has a single subject "1. Two-Day Submission Deadline Extension (Winnie kabintie)"
I have not changed any user settings in mailman. The emails just stopped being received. Another person (also happens to be WMF staff) has also experienced this.

What should have happened instead?:
Ideally the emails would keep on coming in.

Software version (if not a Wikimedia wiki), browser information, screenshots, other information, etc:

The last digest email I have received is from June 18

Unfortunately we only have logs for the past 5 days, so someone disabling it on the 19 is off our radar (just yesterday I extended the retention to 30 days).

@Asaf, do you know why this might have happened? I'm going to go ahead and restore daily digests since it seems like a mistake.

Unfortunately you're not going to receive copies of the missed messages while digests were disabled, you'll need to use the web archive to catch up.

And I think there's a Mailman bug here that if for whatever reason digests get disabled, members should be switched to regular delivery automatically instead of missing out on messages.

I... don't! Thanks for looking into this. I did make some list config updates about a week ago (e.g. added a requested link to the archives to the footer), and, assuming it's not a Mailman bug, must have accidentally switched off digests! Thanks for reporting this, @CKoerner_WMF, and thanks for the quick fix, @Legoktm.

I can confirm that I'm now receiving the digest emails. Thanks y'all for the quick response.
