Filipina Shamed by American Husband for Allegedly Seeking Divorce Now That She Has Green Card
A Filipina married to an American went viral after her husband accused her of seeking a divorce because she had already a green card.
The couple, Jay Anne and her husband, Chad, both active on TikTok with thousands of followers, had previously shared glimpses of their family life in Hawaii.
Recently, however, Chad took to social media to allege that Jay Anne was leaving him after using him to gain American citizenship. His videos included hashtags like “#scam” and “#golddigger,” accusing her of deception.
Jay Anne fired back through her own TikTok content, strongly denying the green card accusations. She explained that her decision to seek a divorce was due to Chad’s alleged abusive behavior, both verbal and physical.
The Filipina said he disrespected her parents and often lashed out at her. Jay Anne said that Chad crossed a line she could no longer tolerate, even if it meant breaking up their family.

The couple had been married for two years, and although Jay Anne initially wanted to stay together for their children’s sake, she realized the situation wasn’t improving. Despite Chad’s public claims, Jay Anne expressed gratitude for the material support he had provided but said these gestures didn’t reflect their true relationship behind closed doors.
Jay Anne also clarified that her family in the Philippines is financially independent, with a stable business, denying allegations that she was sending money back home from Chad’s earnings. She also reassured her followers that she and her children are safe and have resolved issues with Chad.
