drizzle-bomb With a Discography full of discordant terror, this is easily one of Portal's most oppressive releases. An album that is just a sonic assault of esoteric horrors and just when you have a chance to catch your breath, it pulls you right back under and doesn't let go. Especially with the opening track "Cataflque." This album is heavy, harsh and unrelenting. It's good. Favorite track: Catafalque.

Sugammadex My dearest Portal album. The guitar tuning is otherworldly, riffing speed meteoric, and overall density greater than a brood of black holes. The Curator has never sounded more ravenous for souls. Beyond Death Metal. Favorite track: Drain.

menee There are only two albums I'd describe as genuinely terrifying, and Avow is one of them.
