Church Issues
Prophecy Today features regular articles about issues of importance in the Christian Church, and features updates on the state of the church around the world.
Prophecy Today is a non-denominational ministry seeking to equip the whole Church to stand firm, put her roots down deep and better know Her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Israel & Middle East
At Prophecy Today, we believe that God's covenant with Israel remains secure. A brief glance at the news shows that the Middle East remains one of the most contested, fought over areas in the world. This section examines unfolding events in the region and their biblical significance, with a special focus on Israel.
We believe that Israel will continue to take centre stage in international politics for a long time to come, because the tribes of Israel were God's Chosen People, and because the Bible speaks very clearly about their continuing prophetic importance, right up until the end of days.
This does not mean we condone every part of Israeli politics, but it does mean that we believe in blessing Israel, and praying for God's covenant promises to be fulfilled, according to God's expectation for the Christian church.
Society & Politics
This section features incisive comments on society and politics; primarily in the UK, but also elsewhere. We are in a defining period of British history, where institutions and structures that have been taken for granted for decades are crumbling, or being shown to be corrupt or unreliable.
At Prophecy Today, we believe that God is shaking Britain, revealing what happens when a nation that once honoured the gospel walks away from God.
We want to equip people to view the news from the perspective of the Bible, so they understand the spiritual significance of current UK trends and events, and can hold out the word of truth in these dark days.
World Scene
This section features articles and comments on what God is doing around the world. At Prophecy Today, we believe that God is shaking the UK as part of a wider shaking of all nations, in line with prophecies in Haggai 2 and Hebrews 12.
We are living in a profoundly important period of history, with threats of global crisis looming at every turn. Instead of simply crying 'doom and gloom', we seek to understand the times from the perspectives of Scripture and of history, to be watchful and prepared as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:42), and to be faithful in prayer (Ephesians 6:18).
