Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide Review 7.5/10
Vermintide
is a co-operative action first person shooter and melee combat adventure set in
the End Times of the iconic Warhammer Fantasy world.
Vermintide takes place in and around Ubersreik, a city overrun by Skaven. You
will assume the role of one of five heroes, each featuring different
play-styles, abilities, gear and personality. Working cooperatively, you must
use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from the
hordes of relentless rat-men, known as the Skaven. Battles will take place
across a range of environments stretching from the top of the Magnus Tower to
the bowels of the Under Empire.
Core Features:
·
Cooperative Survival For up to 4 Players - Band together
with your friends or die alone. Vermintide will continuously test the teamwork
and skill of you and your friends. Drop-in, drop-out Multiplayer and the
addition of A.I. bots ensures a full team at any time, regardless of available
players.
·
Play as Five Unique Heroes - Five distinct characters to
choose from, each with their own personality, agenda and story to tell.
Learning what it means to work together is key to the group's survival.
·
Huge Hero Arsenal - Each hero has its own unique weapons
arsenal to draw from, allowing you to adjust their combat style to fit their
gameplay preference. There are hundreds of different weapons, includíng swords,
daggers, axes, hammers, bows, guns, magical staves & more
·
Embark on an Epic Quest - Boasting 13 diverse levels - on
the ground, in buildings, on walls and underground - ranging from the immense
Magnus Tower to the treacherous Under Empire, Vermintide will take you on a
journey you’ll never forget.
·
Experience the Skaven Like Never Before - A rising tide
of malicious and cunning rat-men await you, hacking, clawing and eviscerating
all that stand in their way. Face vicious packs of clan-rats and deadly
specialized elites.
·
Gather Shiny Loot - Rewarding teamwork above all else, you
are given loot dice at the end of a mission that will reward you and your team
mates with a weapon, a hat or a trinket. Completing side objectives means that
better loot dice can be added to the roll.
·
Battle Unpredictable Enemies - Vermintide
features a dynamic spawn system providing a constant set of new challenges
lurking behind every corner.
·
Experience an Immersive Story - Games Workshop
veterans have banded together to write a fantastic new addition to the
Warhammer lore, offering a new perspective on the cataclysmic events of The End
Times.
·
Find a Path to Safety - The Skaven boast incredible mobility,
able to climb and leap fantastic distances to make life a living hell for the
Heroes. No matter where you go, they will be there, ready to pounce.
A game with two significant problems that still manages to
be quite a lot of fun.
Pros:
Incredible atmosphere and love for Warhammer. It is simply a delight to be
immersed in the world. The artists nailed the look and feel of Warhammer. The
levels are linear, but well designed. They do a nice job of changing things up
and it never feels too much like you are on rails. The illusion of a bigger,
wider world is maintained.
Excellent character design and playstyles. Each of the characters does feel
unique to play and it goes a long way to adding longevity to the game. While
most players will find a favorite character to play most of the time, it's fun
to have the other characters for something different.
The mechanics are well done in that the game is simple to learn, but hard to
master. It will take quite a bit of practice for most players to be able to
handle Cataclysm difficulty where healing items are rare and enemies do
significant damage. The melee has a very satisfying feel to it and you will
smile the first time you cleave a Skaven's skull open.
Cons:
The loot system is truly terrible. It's 100% RNG and the odds of getting what
you want are awful. Trying to get the DLC weapons in particular is about as
much fun as a root canal. Fatshark made some half hearted attempts to improve
the game's loot system, but it never really works because they wouldn't ditch
the RNG basis which is the root problem of the grind.
The other major problem with the game is that the bots are awful. The good news
is there is a QOL mod that makes them much, much better. With the QOL mod they
become fairly decent, but they are still hopeless on Cataclysm difficulty
because they are simply unable to avoid taking enough damage and they are truly
hopeless against Stormvermin strikes and poison clouds.

Acorn Assault 6/10
Acorn Assault is a quirky, tail-bobbing turn-based
strategy game. Raise an army, overthrow a tyrant King and save the oppressed
squirrels! Do you have what it takes to start a Rodent Revolution?
The squirrels of the forest grew poorer and
more starved each day that passed thanks to the tyrant King Lois the Umpteenth.
It is up to you to raise an army to overthrow the king and set the world right
again.
Embark on an nutty journey filled with a strange cast of characters
through a historically inaccurate retelling of the French Revolution with
squirrels.
If you are a fan of turn based strategy games and want something different from the status quo, this game is for you. The deceptively simple to learn rules of the game lead to a varied set of strategies that you can employ to defeat your enemy and march on.
The gameplay is quite satisfying. It is kind of a mix between a light strategy
game and a match three game. You play units to the gameboard grid and you
attack the other player. When you play three of the same unit next to one
another they combine together to form a stronger unit. While the game is not
deeply strategic, the game has enough strategy to keep it interesting and I had
quite a bit of fun with the game.
While the game is not going to be for everyone, there is only two complaints
that I have with the game. First the single player campaign is pretty short
since it is only around 4-5 hours long. The other problem is that once you
figure out the computer's strategy, it becomes quite easy to beat the computer.
This means that if you want more than 4-5 hours from the game you are going to need to play the multiplayer mode.
If you are interested in the theme or like light strategy games or match three
games I think you will enjoy Acorn Assault: Rodent Revolution.
The first levels are pretty easy and helps you to understand the game how it
work and how to play it right.
Graphic is sweet and music is okay but a bit boring because its always the same
music.
I didnt have any bug and game makes fun.
I would suggest to try the game and if you dont like it you still can refund
it on steam if you didnt played more then 2 hours.
Battle through an epic journey against five unique bosses each with their own abilities and environments.
Enjoy quirky,hand-made immersive artwork and animations!
Test your strategies and do battle in 25 epic levels.
Take control of your enemies: play as defeated single-player enemies in online multiplayer mode!
Bring the fight online and battle people from around the world on PC and Mac.
Overall
The theme is really charming/funny. It is just so strange playing a game
with squirrels fighting one another with old-timey military gear.
The French Revolution theme is pretty light since if you know anything about the French
Reminds me of Plants versus Zombies but then after starting to play I saw its different and I never played a game like that before.
There was no tutorial how explain you how to play, Even Thou I watched the
computer when he started his fight against me and learned how it works.

Sonic Forces 7.5/10
Sonic has been defeated, and Doctor Eggman is conquering the planet. The only one who can put things right is your custom-made character, with some help from some old-school Sonics. The premise behind Sonic Forces
sounds like an amazing mix for a Sonic game, level design and overall inability to capitalize on its potential leaves it just a few steps short.
The character creation is a huge selling point and one of Sonic Forces’ best features, and it feels great to be able to live out a childhood Sega fan dream of making your own Sonic character. You pick their species, customize their look, and dress them up in all kinds of fashion, from stylish (swanky Sega-themed gear, slick shades, and sporty shoes) to downright odd (clown wigs, shutter shades, and wrestling belts), unlocking more as you play. Seeing your creation do wild stunts alongside Sonic, doing fistbumps and taking down some rampaging robots, is a whole heap of fun.
There are three types of stages in Forces, all of which have great visual design (take a moment to check out some of the crazy Eggman mechs rampaging through the backgrounds) and are set to a stellar soundtrack that combines Sonic remixes, 16-bit throwbacks (see how many common Genesis instrument samples you can hear), and cheesy late-90s pop-rock.
Amazingly, the boss battles are actually quite good in Forces, which is surprising because Sonic boss fights tend to be a fairly weak element. They’re challenging but not overly long, and feature some stunning backdrops like a reality-bending battle with new foe Infinite among the winding coils of a giant snake. The problem is that there simply aren’t enough of them, and most of them are over way too fast, limiting their impact.
After you’re done with the main game you can replay levels to improve your scores and times, rescue other players’ avatars in previously beaten stages through SOS missions to earn you gear and weapons, and unlock a handful of hidden (and quite short) challenge stages, but it still feels like there’s a fair bit of wasted potential. More levels and more big, exciting boss fights would have gone a long way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-piMGBiME_E&t=15s&app=desktop

Fortnite free to play battle royale this is not the base co op against zombies this is one that you fight against 100 other people you build a base you fight!
FORTNITE is about life after "The Storm," an apocalyptic event in which 98 percent of the world's population simply vanished ... only to be replaced by hordes of zombie-like Husks. After stumbling onto and taking command of an abandoned high-tech shelter facility, it's up to you to take charge of a group of brave heroes as they fight back against The Storm. Under your guidance, these heroes will gather precious resources, rescue survivors, and build a refuge from the lumbering armies of the undead. Along the way, you might just discover the source of The Storm and save all humanity in the process. The separate free to play multiplayer mode Battle Royale pits up to 100 players against each other in individual battles or in teams to determine the last player standing.

Atlas Reactor Is A Face off in fast-paced, turn-based PvP with Atlas Reactor – a competitive game that fuses simultaneous turns with team tactics. Read minds, master customizable Freelancers, and outwit your enemies in a world where a 20-second turn can change the tide of battle
So let’s just delve into the mechanics of Atlas Reactor. It’s a 4 vs. 4 online multiplayer strategy game. Think of something like XCOM, but with more colorful characters that feel akin to Overwatch, and generally a smaller playing field and unique abilities for each character. The game takes an isometric style view, and the stages are laid out in a grid format, with various pieces of cover to hide behind that deter ranged attacks.
Characters fall into one of three classes, tanks (Frontline), damage dealers (Firepower) and healers/buffs (Support). There’s a pretty hefty roster of characters to choose from, all with unique abilities that help to set them apart. You can modify abilities between games by unlocking mods using points earned from leveling up, which again helps to set the various characters apart from one another. There’s also equippable Catalysts, which are essentially abilities that can only be used once per game, and are generally universal across all characters and classes.
Each game is broken down into four stages. Rounds will start with the Prep phase, generally used to buff or heal, before moving into the Dash phase. This revolves around abilities that include some form of limited movement, usually short range rolls or teleports with some type of added effect like an attack or debuff. Then there’s the Blast phase, where enemies will dish out most of the damage dealing attacks. Then the round ends with player movement, allowing you to go a certain number of squares on the field before starting the whole process over again.
The trick is that you select all of your abilities/movements in one go. So at the beginning of a round you’ll pick what to do for each phase before the phases actually play out. So utilizing the Dash phase to roll out of incoming enemy attacks can be wise, as can using the Prep phase to build up shields or regenerate health. Also, paying attention to what abilities are on cooldown for opposing players can be key to not wasting your turns on an attack that won’t connect. There’s a lot of give and take for any given round, and teams that communicate are always going to more effective. This is done via in-game chat, or an optional Discord option for voice chat built into the game.
Most battles last somewhere between 10 to 20 minutes. A team wins by either having the most kills after 20 rounds, or by being the first to get 5 kills. Death isn’t game over for your character, you will regenerate next turn, and then spend a round restricted to movement only after that. To help matches move quickly, there’s a very small timer to select abilities at the beginning of a round, preventing player griefing via delays. And if players quit out of a game, they’ll be replaced by surprisingly capable bots. Check Out

Check Out

will assume the role of one of five heroes, each featuring different
play-styles, abilities, gear and personality. Working cooperatively, you must
use their individual attributes to survive an apocalyptic invasion from the
hordes of relentless rat-men, known as the Skaven. Battles will take place
across a range of environments stretching from the top of the Magnus Tower to
the bowels of the Under Empire.

Magnus Tower to the treacherous Under Empire, Vermintide will take you on a
journey you’ll never forget.
·

specialized elites.
·

are given loot dice at the end of a mission that will reward you and your team
mates with a weapon, a hat or a trinket. Completing side objectives means that
better loot dice can be added to the roll.

features a dynamic spawn system providing a constant set of new challenges
lurking behind every corner.

Black Squad Game-play Review - 9/10 -
Black Squad is a first-person-shooter game using the Unreal Engine 3 to show realistic graphics and dynamic visuals. developed and published by Neowiz Games.
Like other shooters players earn money by playing games and use it to purchase new weapons to use on the battlefield. Play each round as either the Vipers (Terrorists) or the Peacekeapers (UN Backed Counter-Terrorists) across multiple maps and game modes. Which is similar to counter strike.
not like most free to play games there is no Pay-to-Win.
In my opinion its the best F2P shooter on the market.
Easy to adapt and a shooting game oriented for mass military lovers.
Battleye support, dedicated servers, great shooting mechanics and amazing netcode.

The game overall isn't bad, but at the same time is rather enjoyable. If you're an FPS fan, i'm sure you'll love this game. The Graphics and customization is very deep and enjoyable.
