I’ve driven by so many times so we finally decided to try it out. Cute and cozy ambiance. Really good quality sushi. We also ordered tempura which was fresh and crispy, and the edamame was plentiful. My husband enjoyed his red curry noodles, which is a hard item to find. Even the mango ice cream was better than every other mango ice cream I’ve tried. We will definitely be back!

Making sushi should be easy, right? I mean you don't even have to cook it. Let me tell you, it is not all that easy.First you need the rice. It take a.special variety of rice get it to hold together, but still made up of separate grains. Then you have to cook it until it is done, but not a second longer. Finally, it is seasoned and fanned until cool. It takes people years to make the rice right.At Origami Sushi, they missed a few lessons. The Kitsap roll I ordered looked horrible. The rice looked like yesterday's leftovers. It was cooked almost enough to turn it into porrage. The other ingredients were equally mistreated until they had unpleasant textures and no flavor. Chewing the mess was a study in gluey disappointment.I also ordered chicken katsu. This really is an easy dish. Any cook who knows how to use a frier can whip up a decent version. Unlike the cook at Origami Sushi, such a fry cook, would know to change the oil once in awhile.The one bright spot was the server. She was very professional and pleasant. What an embassament it must be for her to work among all those slackers.
