Greenhouse Patio Project

I wanted to share with you our open patio greenhouse.
In the beginning of this year my
husband, Stan finished working on the project.
He planned the design and had help from our
son, Scott and our daughter's fiancé, Justin.

The panels are polycarbonate greenhouse panels.

It's amazing how it all came together.
We absolutely love it!
It has created a new space for our family and our plants!
Entertaining and creating beautiful table settings is so much fun.
I love being creative and using our flowers
 and foliage from the garden!
Garden to Table
Using the space for displaying fresh flowers
from our garden is so rewarding!
When we take photos from a distant, you can
appreciate all our tender loving care
we have put into our garden.
Growing larkspur by seed turned out to
be a very good year. I decided to dry a lot
of the blooms to decorate inside our home.
I grew our sweet peas by seed this year.
They were the tallest I've ever grown,
all in different colors!
I loved making lots of arrangements with them!
The roses this year were so beautiful too.

~Fall in the Garden 2019~

I wanted to share some photos of the garden this Fall.
I love having photos as a reminder of what the garden looked like!

We had a wonderful harvest of grapes this year!

Our hard work paid off with lots of recipes using the grapes!
We always love growing pumpkins every year!
The foliage is so beautiful!!

Tomatoes are still growing strong in San Diego!
Our trees produced a lot of pears this year,
so I made a Pear Crisp!

There's nothing like comfort food in the Fall!
~French Onion Soup~
Our 2 puppies!
Sage and Nori are both rescues!
Sage is now 8 months and Nori is 1 year old.
They definitely are a handful but keep us laughing everyday!
They are the cutest even when they're sleeping!

~Herb Breadsticks~

Just in time for the holidays
~Herb Breadsticks~
I made bread dough and used herbs from the garden;
parsley, rosemary, dill and thyme.
You can always buy packaged bread dough!
Roll out your bread dough into strips.
Brush with a beaten egg.
Chop up your favorite herbs from your garden!

Brush with more egg wash on top of herbs.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until brown!

~Celebrate Spring with Flowers from your Garden~

I wanted to share with you photos of a floral project,
 I just finished.
I used a vintage ladder with bouquets of flowers
from our garden.
A Paris Flea Market sign was hung with it.
I picked fresh flowers from the garden
 and tied them with jute.

The corner of room is next to our kitchen.
You can see a chalkboard with flowers and a collection of old antique rolling pins.

I always have flowers from the garden in the house.
Some are fresh picked or drying.
Celebrate Spring with flowers from your garden!!
