Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Originality: The work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • File Format: The submission is a PDF file formatted in LaTeX.
  • References: URLs are included for all references whenever available.
  • Formatting: Single-spaced; 12-point font; Italics used instead of underlining (except for URLs); Figures and tables placed within the text.
  • Content:
    Title: Concise, informative, and reflects the content.
    Abstract: Clearly presents objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
    Keywords: Relevant and represent the main topics.
    Introduction: Provides context, problem statement, and research objectives.
    Methodology: Clear and detailed description of procedures.
    Results: Presented objectively, with tables and figures as needed.
    Discussion: Analyzes results, relates them to existing literature, and highlights implications.
    Conclusion: Addresses the problem and objectives, presenting the main contributions.
    References: Complete and formatted according to journal guidelines.
    Citations: Adhere to journal guidelines.
    Figures/Tables: Clear, legible, with informative captions.
    Length: Within the journal's page limits.
  • Ethics:
    Conflict of Interest: Declared any potential conflicts;
    Ethical Approval: Obtained necessary ethical approvals.
  • Language and Style:
    Clarity: Uses clear, concise, and objective language.
    Grammar: Free of grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
    Style: Follows the journal's style and formatting guidelines.
    Plagiarism: Free of plagiarism.
  • Submission:
    Author Information: Complete author names, affiliations, and emails provided.

Author Guidelines

Submission Categories:

Reviews: Provide in-depth and accessible explorations of a particular subject area. Reviews can be introductory, suitable for readers new to the field, or advanced, catering to those with existing knowledge. We encourage authors to provide a clear and comprehensive synthesis of the literature, highlighting key concepts, terminology, and current debates. (Suggested length: 20-35 pages)

Research Articles: Present original findings, new developments, or critical reflections on current research topics. Articles should clearly state the research question, methodology, and results. Authors should also discuss the implications of their findings and relate them to existing scholarship. (Suggested length: 12-25 pages)

RITA uses the SEER system for online manuscript submission. To submit your work:

Prepare your manuscript: Save your manuscript as a PDF file.
Format with LaTeX: Use the RITA LaTeX template to ensure your manuscript meets our formatting requirements. You can download the template here: LaTeX.
Submit online: Upload your formatted PDF file through the SEER system.

Formatting rules:

For initial submission, prepare your manuscript as a PDF file. For the final version, please provide the LaTeX source files. RITA will handle the final typesetting and page numbering. While the initial submission doesn't require strict adherence to RITA's page size, please observe the following structure and guidelines:

Sequence of topics:
Title
Author names (with affiliations and emails in a footnote)
Abstract (up to 200 words) and Keywords
Text (including figures and tables)
Acknowledgments (if applicable)
References

Figures and tables:
Numbered consecutively.
Figures placed near their citation in the text.
Figure titles included in the text, not in the figure itself.
Images can be embedded or submitted as separate files (.gif, .tiff, etc.).

References:
Numbered and cited in brackets.
Follow the provided examples for articles and books.
